500 million birds, from Europe, land in the Hula Valley in Israel to feed and drink before completing their journey to Africa and back. The best time to view them is Nov and Dec and June and July. One of the most amazing views of nature.

And when you're a goose in Chicago, crossing the street qualifies as "migration".

Sandhill cranes landing next to a cornfield near Navan, Ontario, during their fall migration. There were already 6 cranes on the ground and several groups of 5 to 6 cranes arrived.

Migrating butterfies through Colorado Sept 2017

The tour guide couldn't be sure if these were two teenagers or a mother and a calf. This was the second batch of whales we saw today.

The grackles are migrating through SE Arkansas. Reminicent of "The Birds".

This project is the getting through process of the young people who are individuals by integrating their traditional arts to the major society and make their cultures embrace with the society without being isolated.

The fall migration of Monarch Butterflies came through in mid-September. I had just enough time to get a few shots before they were gone. Sadly, these were the only Monarchs I saw all summer.
