This is the Hobbiton film set from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy. It's on a private farm in Matamata, New Zealand, and it is amazing to visit, even though they are not allowed to dress up the holes (which is why they are all white). It's fun to watch the Fellowship of the Ring afterwards and recognize all the places you've stood or seen.
The very first description of Thranduil from Chapter I: I am Thranduil from Book II: The Saga of Thranduil from The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy. As Book II comes to a close and Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen is in preparation to begin, I hope you've enjoyed what will be the beginning of an epic tale about the Elves that will make up Eryn Galen (Greenwood the Great), Mirkwood and eventually Eryn Lasgalen after the War of the Ring.

This Rivendell Moss ring has growing things..fading roses strewn among glistening dewdrops, olivine and blue sapphire swarovski crytals, amethyst drop and tiny micro beads gleaming through moss (on the north side). All set onto a adjustable silver plate ring, with my own hand patina, on whuch sits a black lava globe stone.... the earth itself.
Comes with its own MiddleEarths 'precious' pouch.

This is my first upload for a while as I've been busy in the home. Its great to get out my camera again. As you can see I still have the bug!
I came across this shield bug in my garden. Love the look of these. Hope you like it too.

To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.”
