I know I'm a little early--I have a new kitten so I do things before he lies across my laptop. It is #Tuesday (for some already) and it's #Legolas Fun Facts. Though the books are based on #Tolkien, little is known about the private life of Elves (which is the point of the stories). I decided to "share" a little about Legolas' childhood. A favorite to some is his foster brother Tarthôn and little sister IsÃlriel (from the Extended Versions). I personally adore little Legolas. He's extraordinarily gifted with getting away with things--like his decision to save Woodland creatures from the "evil" outside. He got a pet squirrel out of it. He named it "Lasimë" which is baby talk Quenya for "Leafy". I can't wait to share things about his adolescence.

Celestial beauty resting on the red earth..
The russet red lava stone in this pendant is truly beautiful, the color and touch set off perfectly the swarovski rondelle in its copper setting. The swarovski has an everchanging color called purple haze..a mysterious blending of dusty pink with hazy mauve and just a glitter of sapphire blue.
