Okay, the last digital pictur from our one good snowy morning. Hoping to get some film developed today and maybe get a picture or 2 done in the darkroom tomorrow night.
City lights far off hitting on the cloud deck creates an interesting view over the review, which was smooth on this low wind evening.
Walking back through the fields after a day in the woods looking ( unsuccessfully ) for fungi late evening November 2018. There is two farm buildings in this image ,the one in silhouette is Middle Intake Farm, I cant find the name of the one in the foreground with all the trees but both are in a state of ruin...
Took the dogs down and visited with my dad. Had a nice walk on this cold November day. Left there about an hour before sunset, and as I was leaving noted the light along the horizon below the clouds in the west. Told him it might turn out pretty, and that I might come back down without the dogs and bring the camera ...
Got home and checked the clouds on the weather radar and there was a chance at some colors if things played out. I chose though to check out Wilson Point Park for this sunset to get some different perspectives along Middle River. This time of year the setting of the sun works well from the boardwalk along the river at the park.
Was thinking the night would mostly dud out when about 15 minutes after sunset, the pinks popped nicely in the sky.

Glendale Falls in Hamilton is a series of cascades. The main 3 are called Lower, Middle, and Upper. This area dries up in the summer, but in the winter (a mild one) this is what it would look like after some rain
We spent a little time hiking and 'waterfalling' along the Minnesota shore of Lake Superior recently, Gooseberry Falls State Park is home to three picturesque falls - aptly named Upper, Middle and Lower Falls! This is the Middle Falls, taken in the morning when there was still a bit of a chill in the air, and before it was descended upon by hundreds of other tourists. (The day before, when the temps were in the upper 80s and low 90s, it was impossible to get a shot without including the swarms of people splashing about below the falls.)

October 7, 2016: If you can get to the White Mountains now, I highly recommend the Littleton to Mt. Washington Hotel (Zealand Notch) area. The colors are spectacular this year with vibrant reds.
This is a view from the summit of North Sugarloaf with a view of Middle Sugarloaf, and you can easily hike both in one go. The Sugarloafs are a true moderate hike (easy if you are in shape, difficult but doable if you are out of shape) with great views from their summits.
