When the geese were on the move in late October I picked this location in the hope I could capture a group rising off the lake in the morning light.

Pretty sky here in the southeast direction along Middle River after thunderstorms rolled through.

Tonight's sunset had the potential to really color up ... it was real close, but alas it eventually puttered out with too many clouds to the west. Was still able to get some interesting captures I think down at Middle River with the reflections and cloud deck. This was about 5 minutes before sunset.
There was a chance of some nice light and clouds in the sky so I headed down to my Dad's to give him a quick visit and catch the sunset.
Alas the cloud deck overhead cleared too much as the sun was going down, so I used the 100mm lens versus the 14mm and went on a chase for some 100mm landscape sunset captures along Middle River.
