For the Flickr Friday theme, Microcosms, my version of what can not be seen but can cause a huge impact! What is microcosms - a community, place, or situation regarded as encapsulating in miniature the characteristic qualities or features of something much larger.
In the close-up world of a macro lens,
a solitary drop becomes a universe unto itself,
revealing intricate details unseen by the naked eye !!
A minuscule world unfolds as a delicate bug tiptoes upon the vibrant stage of a blooming blade of grass,
nature's intricacies captured in a single mesmerizing moment !!
Taken in front of the family clothing store (72 Belmont Avenue). Stomping grounds, teeming then with myriad cultures, all intermingled in a kind of microcosmic melting pot. Home.
Raindrops on the furry leaves of a Stachys flower stem. Taken in the garden with natural light and no tripod!
