Yet more pocket heroes! Can't stop! Won't stop!
Gerry the Griffin patrols his storybook kingdom.
This began as an attempt to recreate the open book from that cool huge #HarryPotter Icons set, but it had to be shrunk down to microscale because my white slope collection was slightly smaller than anticipated, ho boy I tell you h'what.
Prohibitively expensive, technologically advanced and high maintenance strike craft; a direct threat to any capital ships in the vicinity.
The back of the house might face a small yard, although the house is intended to fill most of a typical city lot. The North elevation is all glass to catch the light.

I built a couple of microscale apartment blocks in June, I posted this one ... and I totally forgot about its companion.
So, here it is.

Based on set 9446, just microscale. This was one of my favourite sets as a child, and this was made when I was working on a speeder bike by accident, as I thought the flippers looked very similar to what they look like in the show.
The Rueful Autumn is a customised Tigermouth gunship used by a special operations team of the Widebrim mercenary group; it is rugged and hard wearing as befits the group and survived many an encounter were the odds were stacked against it. A single pair of long ranged, tunnelling particle cannons as well as a micromine launcher make the ship more of a clever combatant than a back street brawler, but no combatant worth their salt attacks the Autumn without some serious forethought.
"I Don't know how but the hyperdirve is activating!"
With the new series of Star Wars Rebels underway, I felt the urge to build something from the show. My initial thought was to create a Ringworld but with a lot of my parts tied up in various builds I decided to go small and build a microscale Ghost instead. This also gave me an excuse to practice image editing/post production too, something I've wanted to get better at for a while. I chose to do the scene where the crew enter a star cluster just because I liked the idea of to playing with some more vibrant colours! :D
Let me know what you think! :)

1x Heavy Gunner w/ 2x BA-9 "Hellfire" Vulcannons
1x Assault Trooper w/ PowerFist & FlakMaster Rifle
More little dudes! These are so fun!
SUPER big thanks and shout out to Victor over at eclipseGrafx for the custom printed pieces! These things are great!
To get started into the LEGO season 2019, I decided to build a small one at first. Primarily to continue practicing photography and image editing. Happy new year everybody!
Evildoers Beware!
Resolution for 2014 - build more. Real-world work has meant I've hardly built anything this year other than the stuff for my chapter in the LEGO Play Book. Must try harder.
This was part of my Lego club's layout at our exhibition last weekend. We had tons of extravagant once-per-city buildings but almost no housing so I came up with some low-key apartment buildings.
Never built a bunker before, so this was fun - especially the top level. A little hard to get the specs in the bottom at this scale.
Top - L>R/Bottom - R>L: Light Carrier, Cruiser, Destroyer, Frigate, Torpedo Corvette, Escort Corvette
A quick build using some recent recolors of new parts. Focus was on the Gemini capsule and titan launch vehicle, the launch tower and base were just to help showcase it.
Out to go sink a cap ship. Or, to get some starbucks. With a vengeance. Group shot including the corvette. I suck at photography. 1 stud = 5 meters.
A microscale recreation of the Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch for the Small category of the Microscale Magic contest on TBB. Behind it you can see the edge of the Forbidden Forest and in front of it is Hagrid pulling a cart as he is tending to the grounds.
Finally digitized this creation. It has a few more fixes, namely a more clear interior, folding fins, better guns, and rear landing gear. The arms also move up and down at the shoulder area slightly but I forgot to animate that. There are instructions for this model here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47640/TheRealBeef1213/prowler
here is a animation of the new pods in action: imgur.com/8LIaAfc
Old fashioned, literally rough and ready container transport making friends, enemies and profits through the lawless frontier.
I love guitars. Acoustics, electrics… Each one has its own personality. Wanted to make some in a microscale size. If you have created some, tell me !
Check out my latest microscale creation, it features a moving wave mechanism. Overall happy with this attempt, considering I little to no experience and parts in Technic.
Made for a Lego Ideas contest, a gwp type of set, with some sort of movement and less than 250 parts.

Micro scale version of 8778 Border Ambush from Knights Kingdom II. This was one of my favorite lego themes as a kid and and I had 2 copies of this set.
Some builds take on their own life. This loco started out as tablescrap with the cannon part. I gave it some rolling stock thinking it might be a cute holiday train. Instead it got huffy and demanded a bridge. And a bridge needs something to cross ...

In the far future, Oxford University transforms itself into a colossal spacefaring vessel. Its faculties, libraries, and colleges become vast modules within a moving university dedicated to preserving and expanding human knowledge among the stars. Known casually as "The Scholar's Ark," it journeys outward to teach and explore.
