Well, probably the most massive undertaking I've yet to accomplish with Lego is finally done! It's always been my dream to be able to build a full size space fleet out of Lego, as I'd never seen one done on the scale that I wanted.
It may have started with SHIPtember last year, but it certainly spiraled away from that as the year progressed and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It was difficult at times trying to come up with a bunch of novel, yet similar designs in the same color scheme, yet it was also challenging in a good way :)
As a side note, a big shout-out to everyone who participated in the collective fleet swoosh at brickworld - you are all amazing!

Adventure in luxury; Fly Cinnabar
The Cinnabar is more than just a spaceship; it is the only vessel to combine luxury and safety into one perfect package. From your automated factories around Jupiter or your vacation complex on the lush Gnobo homeworld, the Cinnabar takes you there in the fashion you're accustomed to. The vessel features top-of-the-range safety features, an on-board AI for threat assessment and the fastest recorded sublight speed of any civilian shuttle craft, allowing you to be as confident in travel as you are in business.
The Cinnabar Executive Shuttle is the vessel of choice of sports stars, musicians, presidents and business magnates around the Solar System and beyond. You and up to twelve guests can join you touring the furthest reaches of known space in opulence and safety.
...
_Three Cinnabar vessels have been reported as missing in the last year whilst on extended tours in the Galactic East. A further two sent out SOS messages after a complete engine failure; in both cases the crew had allowed passengers to take control. Full investigations have found fault in the engines being ran at full throttle for over five minutes, a fact not published by the manufacturer._
The Tempest Destroyer while not a flagship still brings heavy firepower to any engagement and is built to outlast and outgun any ships of the same class.
Well, that's the final ship in the fleet! Stay tuned for a spacey group shot of them all :)

You may remember my Micro Tank (pictured below). I posted it a while ago and decided that it would be interesting to see if I could come up with some new turret designs. Here is the result.

These Eco-skyscrapers are an example of an emerging trend in architecture. Create environmentally friendly structures that reduce the environmental impact of new developments. This development features lush landscaping on the roof tops of the buildings as well as the two "sky bridges". There are numerous trees on the grounds as well as ponds and a community garden and solar panels.
Some builds take on their own life. This loco started out as tablescrap with the cannon part. I gave it some rolling stock thinking it might be a cute holiday train. Instead it got huffy and demanded a bridge. And a bridge needs something to cross ...

In 2013 I made a two-wide train, now this one is three-wide ... I guess I'll keep working my way up to minifig scale :)
Finally digitized this creation. It has a few more fixes, namely a more clear interior, folding fins, better guns, and rear landing gear. The arms also move up and down at the shoulder area slightly but I forgot to animate that. There are instructions for this model here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47640/TheRealBeef1213/prowler

I'm not sure exactly where this is going, other than "it's a spaceship spaceship SPACESHIP!!!" It's micrscale, at least SHIP-sized. This is a small section of the front. I'm still iterating on the details, especially along the bottom-right where it degenerates into a cluttered mess.
The plan, at the moment, is for this to be tilted toward the background at about 30 degrees, with another similar section tilted the opposite way below, and another different thing sting straight out on the right side, so that the front profile forms a three-bladed fan shape.
UPDATE: This model is now complete.
Hi! This is my newest Moc on Mecabricks!
My creation represents a microscale of a Swiss Chalet and is build with 111 bricks. Actually, I really like to make microscale creations as it allows you to build complex builds with a minimum of pieces.
Hope you like it! winking face
I am painfully aware that I haven't posted anything in nearly a year. Been busy with builds, but too damn lazy to set up my photography area. These should do for now...
A friend gave me one of these little pull-back chassis; so, I felt obliged to build something cool upon it. Wanted to incorporate some recent parts too.
So, yeah, there's bonus content--it rips like hell across the floor!

Far in the north, lost in the volcanic wastes, lies a shrine protected by magic, it's purpose long since lost.
Okay, building these things is officially addictive! 6x6 microscale fantasy locations.
I'm very happy with the shapes of this one, and the fact that the wings close up to the right height as well!

Gerry the Griffin patrols his storybook kingdom.
This began as an attempt to recreate the open book from that cool huge #HarryPotter Icons set, but it had to be shrunk down to microscale because my white slope collection was slightly smaller than anticipated, ho boy I tell you h'what.
Prohibitively expensive, technologically advanced and high maintenance strike craft; a direct threat to any capital ships in the vicinity.
The back of the house might face a small yard, although the house is intended to fill most of a typical city lot. The North elevation is all glass to catch the light.

I built a couple of microscale apartment blocks in June, I posted this one ... and I totally forgot about its companion.
So, here it is.

Based on set 9446, just microscale. This was one of my favourite sets as a child, and this was made when I was working on a speeder bike by accident, as I thought the flippers looked very similar to what they look like in the show.
The Rueful Autumn is a customised Tigermouth gunship used by a special operations team of the Widebrim mercenary group; it is rugged and hard wearing as befits the group and survived many an encounter were the odds were stacked against it. A single pair of long ranged, tunnelling particle cannons as well as a micromine launcher make the ship more of a clever combatant than a back street brawler, but no combatant worth their salt attacks the Autumn without some serious forethought.
"I Don't know how but the hyperdirve is activating!"
With the new series of Star Wars Rebels underway, I felt the urge to build something from the show. My initial thought was to create a Ringworld but with a lot of my parts tied up in various builds I decided to go small and build a microscale Ghost instead. This also gave me an excuse to practice image editing/post production too, something I've wanted to get better at for a while. I chose to do the scene where the crew enter a star cluster just because I liked the idea of to playing with some more vibrant colours! :D
Let me know what you think! :)
