Not as tiny as others but I really dig it.

Came up with this one just playing with pieces. I am also now running out of jumpers for cars.

I'm very happy with the shapes of this one, and the fact that the wings close up to the right height as well!

My POV-Ray randomly stopped working, and Bluerender is terrible. It's a hard life.

This was part of my Lego club's layout at our exhibition last weekend. We had tons of extravagant once-per-city buildings but almost no housing so I came up with some low-key apartment buildings.

Special thanks to Carter for use of his slope design and also to Dasnewten for inspiration.

A great project: Euromap

My first ever microscale build for the "New Elementary" Blog, using the Nexo Knights Shields and new double-cornered panel as a portico.

For those not familiar with New Elementary is worth a read!

Sometimes you get tired of big models and want to build something without spending days and weeks for it :) This little guy is based on Ward fighter from GOF2, although I had to come up with some form and design changes due to its small scale.

Central to Wasp Squadron, you are clear to dock in sector 5. Welcome home commander!

It's good to have you back.

Pheron 4Y ... you cruel mistress. Your acid clouds and strong winds eroded the surface. Nothing lives down there anymore. So we built our cities above the clouds and into the sunlight.

Now as I pop out of these poisonous clouds ... I get a glimpse of my city ... basking in the last rays of sunlight ... it truly is a magnificent view ... one that get's me every time.

I get that warm, fluffy feeling and I know ... I'm home.

Cheap and easy to use. Rugged design with a simple maintenance program. Can take a lot of punishment but can't give out all that much. Effective for small budding nations, and not a problem for donor nation to deal with if that budding nation goes rogue, after all you never want to sell your best stuff XD

I built this as a gift for the London AFOLs Christmas party Secret Santa this year. There’s not much secrecy once lightsabers are included as people will guess it’s me that built it. This was an interesting challenge, getting a Lego oval with three different layer heights for the seating tiers and arena base. The recipient had jokingly put that she’d love the Colosseum from Santa so that gave me the idea. The structure can be seen here www.flickr.com/gp/uklegoman/fep79x and here www.flickr.com/gp/uklegoman/xF7s42

The completed LEGO microscale habitat stack is finally here!

Over the past few months I have built a wide selection of 8x8 LEGO microscale habitats and today I'm going to give you a complete overview, including a new polar one and a rework of the OG habitat, the japanese garden.

Here's the video:

It's also the first time I've used GIMP to edit my photo. :)

Finally got some time to finish rendering of this micro Hook and Ladder 8 (also known as Ghostbusters building)

There are some strange rendering artefacts can be seen.

Some examples of what the finished trees may look like.

There are lots of other ways to build trees like this, so just go ahead and try different things. If you lack a piece for something, just try replacing it with something else. It might just end up even better :)

Happy building!
