Micro Brewery is a booming business in Vancouver. Brassneck is one along Main and there's more in that area.

Sometimes I ask myself if the resemblances we observe in the world of nature are the resault of an accident or not...

I figured I would just add this one, so you could see the bottom.

Photographs of palm trees on The English Riviera's beautiful and flourishing micro-climate.

Nearly deleted the whole thing today. Instead I deleted some photos sorry if people had faves or comments, I was starting to not like the way this looked and was going and I had to do something. I'm happy enough with it again, most of the stuff I deleted was me trying to be artistic and it looked rubbish and wasn't really the focus. I don't think many people will miss that! :)

I need to keep it tightly focused on the palms and the only other thing is Abbey Sands Complex and that is being followed because palms are being planted there.

Anyway, a nice T.Fortunei here in the picture with plenty of shelter, unfortunately the shelter also blocks out sunlight alot of the day especially in winter but the advantage is large leaves to gather as much light as possible, nice looking leaves due to lack of wind damage, and growing much faster than it usually would as it searches for the sun. Overall the dissadvantages make it look really good, there's another in the same garden with the same problem and that one looks good too!

Here is my micro version of WALL-E. I built this for Rogue Advent to fit into a Christmas Bauble. Enjoy!

This is a resonant circuit with a coil and a capacitor. The resonant frequency is:

f=1/(2π√LC). The capacitor is 0.047 microFarad and the coil has a selfinduction of 1 micro Henry so F = 0.7431 MHz

If you've got lots of those pulley wheels and droid torsos, you can make quite a few variations of this.

I always loved Lego Architecture sets and I always wanted to build this amazing fictional location in micro version. It is based on the look of the castle in the last two movies.

This is my third iteration in many years. Finally, I was able to build this in real. The first two versions (very old and digital-only) can be found on Lego Ideas:

Wow, what an awesome little Macro lens. Nikon's new 40mm f/2.8 Macro lens is a STELLAR piece of glass. It's 35mm equivalent focal length is 60mm on DX(which is a really useful focal length). This lens is capable of 1:1 magnification @ a close focus distance of about 6 inches. Nikon has a long history of making very SHARP Macro lenses and this little beast is no departure. I compared it to the venerable AF-S Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G VR lens and at 1:1, i couldn't tell the difference. Sharpness when stopped down is criminal and contrast is amazing. Just have a look at the sample images!

Please feel free to view these images at full-resolution. This lens can't be fully appreciated unless you view at 100%.

Sticking to tradition, we were one of the first people to get a copy of the new Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor 40mm f/2.8G Macro lens. The same thing happened with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G Prime a few months back. We were very lucky to be able to be one of the first to get copies of these new lenses.

I think this is a Nettle Moth, it's very, very small!

Apologies to any moth groups I've posted in but this is apparently a Drain Fly! In my defence it looks like a moth!

Here’s a micro scaled build of downtown Los Angeles that I did 2 years ago for Christmas. The buildings are not accurate to what they are in real but I wanted to experiment with some cool designs. 👍 -Btw I didn’t notice the street lamp that fell down during the photo shoot until after I broke the build.😂 Anyways enjoy and share it with others please.

The 1960s Batmnobile as you have never seen it before.

This Hot Wheels diecast is a great bit of fun whilst being authentic to the car.
