Micro Brewery is a booming business in Vancouver. Brassneck is one along Main and there's more in that area.
Just slightly larger than a 20p
I have only borrowed this to show what can be accomplished with a little bit of tissue paper cotton thread and shaved down brush bristles.
It's a peaceful day in the small mountain village...until somebody noticed the giant creature flying out of the rocks above them! Burning flames sweep across the village, as the dragon searches for more treasure to add to his collection...
Soli Deo Gloria :)
One for my photography set.
I came across a method a few years ago of using two lenses together, and never turned back. There are special reversal ring adapters, but that would take the fun out of making it all work without investing anything. (cheap)

I found this ship design on my computer and decided that it could use a display case so I quickly built some water around it and framed it. It was based on some WW2 battleship or destroyer I found on the internet but I don´t know what it was called anymore.
This is my first micro scale ship. Please tell me what you think of it!
Something entirely different for a change. Looks much better on black!

I am very pleased with the overall feel of this, but the tails will probably have to change. Tricky.
If you've got lots of those pulley wheels and droid torsos, you can make quite a few variations of this.

Like the ones that take tourists on sightseeing tours on the rivers in big metropolises :-)

Will and I got our micros today. They are soo cute! And the screen looks very good! I just put in Kingdom Hearts, and was very impressed with the crispness!
Sometimes, a navy wants a rugged, old-fashioned capital ship which dish out punishment and take even more. The newer navies and militaries consider this view quite out of date, and the FG-10 is a successful product of this modern warfare.
SyncTech, a Sweedish-Korean company, produced the vessel for their respective navies, but it has been produced under licence for several other states, and the idea copied by even more.
A true stand-off weapon, the ship is minimally armed for conventional ship-to-ship (STS) and anti-fighter warfare. It's main potency comes from the four cruise missile launchers, able to fire in serial or in sequence, at other ships, at space platforms or planets. Although slow enough to be destroyed by specialised point defence cannons, the FG-10 is able to destroy much without having to get into cannon range at all.
At close-range, the Frigate is no match for a ship as small as the BB-22, but with proper escort and intelligent use, it can be used as an anti-capital ship threat, as well as to destroy space platforms and assault entire planets.
Length: 220m
Crew: 74.
Armament: 4 x fast tracking ion turrets, 2 x Quad STS flak cannon.
2 x dual Sorsvig-class Cruise Missile batteries. Limited ammunition.
Computer: Siemens Y2-modular.
This is 3M™ Dual Lock™ "velcro". Each side is identically patterned with these "mushrooms". The advantage to this over traditional hook-and-loop fasteners is that the strong stalks provide much better hanging support for large posters. The caps interlock over each other, sticking the two pieces together. Each shroom is approximately 1.5mm tall. The red you see is from the 3M logo on the adhesive backing.
As the "undisputed king of Velcro photography", I feel obliged to periodically post some of these zoomified adhesive systems.
I took this photo with an Olympus E330 mounted to a Nikon SMZ1500 stereomicroscope using a combination of diascopic and episcopic illumination.
The Agents Mobile Command Center is an awesome set as you all probably know. The only downside is, so to speak, that it stretches the term "minifig scale" really really far. 12 studs wide, to be precise. Since all the other trucks in minifig scale are 6-wide, I figured a 1:2 scale model of the set had to blend just fine into LEGO City.
Obviously, it didn't turn out quite as expected. Now I have a truck that barely fits a minifig and is otherwise pretty useless. On the other hand: Micro-Agents! Woot!
I decided to shoot Micro-pic today. And I have been working on it since 5pm till now. What I have learned: focus, composition, and lighting. I have tried so many different subjects, compositions, and lighting. None worked and I am so stressed out. It is like meeting a project deadline. My head hurts. This one still is not as good but I do not have time and am tired. And the color is so not my thing. Such a bright color. I prefer BW shots. Anyways, I am done for today. And what to do tomorrow?
