Inaugurado como el Teatro "Splendid" en los años 30's, fué diseñado por el arquitecto Guillermo Schneider y durante décadas se constituyó como uno de los cines más destacados de la ciudad; al poseer funciones rotativas que transmitían películas durante 12 horas al día. Ya después al terremoto de 1939, su nombre fué cambiado a Teatro Roxy teniendo un icónico letrero luminoso en calle Barros Arana. En 1960 hasta su cierre en 1997 fue conocido como "Ducal", el inmueble fue demolido para instalar tiendas comerciales de interés arquitectónico bastante inferiores al edificio original.

A little gift for my mother-in-law. She loves lighthouses, but I absolutely cannot afford the new Ideas motorized lighthouse. A fun exercise in micro buildings and landscape!

I found this at work and rescued it from the office and photographed it at home, at 1.0 Mag

Four cask now, one keg and two boxed cider/perry...

Even if I have controlled temperature in the "museum" sector of the house. This tiny beauty could not scape the Rigours of our Extremely hot climate.... This rubber pump was in excellent condition when it arrived. Unfortunately, half a degree up in the system did it all.It reducet the pump in a miserable state. Even if it is still supple but deformed, I will try my best to bring it back to a decent degree of credibility.... The rest is patience....
