Hi, all! For this card I used the loose flower stamps from @simonsaysstamp June 2018 kit. For a slightly different look, I colored them with Prismacolor pencils on black cardstock then drew a few more lines with @crafterscompus metallic markers. I used the embossing folder in the kit and added gilding wax only on the raised areas. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge and in @kathyrac #thedailymarker30day.

Aplonis metallica-The Metallic Starling is a bird in the starling family. It is native of New Guinea and nearby Australia.
A customer's existing expansion joint failed and caused a plant shut down. They required an immediate replacement joint. This universal expansion joint order was placed, designed and fabricated in just one day. The order came in at 8:30 am on Saturday, Labor Day weekend and was shipped at 4:00 pm, which minimized the time of the plant shut down. This universal expansion joint is 96" in overall length, 20" inside diameter and can absorb 3.25" lateral movement. A 100% dye-penetration test and a hydro-test were performed to ensure quality.

This is a traditional Argentinian pot used for brewing tea. It is made from aluminum and plastic and was given as a gift from Argentina. This photo was taken with a 50mm 1.8 Canon lens
My desk and chair are done. I used Valspar metallic paint with a Purdy Brush. The seat of the chair has been upholstered with unbleached muslin. It is a 3 day project but so worth it.

Metallic stretch denim pencil skirt
Straight pencil skirt style with back darts, back zipper and back walking slit. Fabric has a good amount of stretch so this skirt is very comfortable.
fabric: Metallic stretch denim- cotton and lycra. The color is mostly dark blue but the metallic is iridescent so there is also purple and silver depending on how the light hits it.
Like its name this beetle is grounding. At work every thing is about prioritising, and not doing what you want when you want, so when on holiday or on a weekend Vincent and I can be cycling along and then a yelp goes up to stop. Immediately I jump off the bike, grab the beetle let it roam around on my hands for a while whilst Vincent gets the camera out and then I put it down, gently, and we both start shooting. Everything has come to standstill but naturally as this is what is important to us, seeing, admiring and capturing. I love prioritising nature.
Anyway onto the ground beetle we found crossing the country lane; the colours of this ground hunter are incredible and it blended into its roadside environment, of dying ferns, brilliantly. Its metallic, shinny ex-wing case makes it look almost space ship-like and its legs make it one fast mover. Usually nocturnal, thank goodness, it was out in broad daylight so we could check out its lovely ‘metal amour’.
This was taken just before the beginning of a short-lived but monstrously heavy downpour ... There were some rays of midnight sun breaking through the atmosphere but behind me, dark black clouds were reflecting down onto the calm swamp surface, giving it the appearance of a pool of lead. There were several of these small (~5mm) wasps on Salix at Prees Heath. Could they be Pteromalidae? Or something else? Thanks!

According to Zen Nippon Airinkai, over 100 different color varieties of this fish are registered. The Ojiya no Sato Museum in Niigata Prefecture in Japan is the only museum in the world that exhibits both living koi, and data about the history of their breeding. The oldest documented koi lived to be 226 years old. Koi are symbols of love, and friendship. Distribution: originally from Japan, now bred worldwide due to its unique coloration, and resistance to unfavorable environments. Habitat: lakes, ponds, slow-flowing rivers. Food: crustaceans, insects, smaller fish, aquatic vegetation.
