In short, this means you may use any of these wallpapers for personal and/or commercial purposes without any financial obligations. ( MEANS FREE ) ALL THAT IS REQUIRED IS YOU GIVE ARTGRAFX CREDIT FOR CREATING THE ORIGINAL IMAGE. ( ATTRIBUTION PART )
All wallpaper images will be 1920 x 1200 @ 72 dpi.
I have tried to eliminate any duplicates but I am running ragged. Plan to upload in excess of 20000 of these rascals.
Download as many as you want. It is not required but. It would be nice to offer a fav or comment.
If you find any duplicate wallpapers between hour two sections on Flickr, any of our wallpaper images will revert to Creative Commons with attribution. In the very near future, I will delete any of our wallpapers from our original section on Flickr.

The metallic shots look gold here but that is a trick of the light or an effect of the flash. The metallic threads are shimmery silver.

Recently I am crazy about shooting butterflies especially this kind of small sized species. Metallic Cerulean is one of the common butterflies in Taiwan. I met it during hiking with my dog.

Not sure what this flower is, but the lighting gives it a metallic look. The colors really caught my eye. I wanted to crawl right into it to snap this. I couldnt get close enough.

Backstory
"The development of Priapus stemmed from a desire to reverse the damage caused to flora by pollution over the preceding centuries. Research into the quantum mechanisms of photosynthesis revealed an opportunity to directly boost any plant's energy level artificially within the roots themselves, all that was needed was a delivery system. Outfitted with 2 sizable containers of super symmetric accelerants and equipped with a hand-held resonant amplifier, Priapus was able to give a literal booster shot to mother nature by filling the chambers and firing it directly into the ground beneath him. The shockwave generated would flood the roots of every plant within a radius of 2 miles with the energetic equivalent of 6 months of summer sun, stimulating exceptional growth. A unexpected side effect was the damage done to the plants RNA by such energetic bombardments, something only apparent decades later when test areas developed uniquely mutated species never seen before. While some mutations were ultimately detrimental, many viable new species displayed exceptional regenerative potentials for medical science."
There are many times while I am walking around the central Oregon area, that I see a bright, metallic green bee flitting around the various wildflowers. Attempts in the past to photograph this bee has been unsuccessful. However, on July 3, 2013, I was in the right place at the right time and noticed for the first time, a metallic blue bee which joined the green bee. I have yet to ID either bee, but I was glad to get a photo of the insects. Photo taken at the sewage ponds north of Redmond, Oregon.
