A small metallic beetle shot at around twice life size with a Canon EF-S 60mm macro lens and 62mm or extension tubes. Pretty good performance at F13. Used an MT-24EX set to manual mode and 1/16th power for the light.

Surprisingly nice rental car. Fantastic petrol engine, really punchy. Nice straightforward interior, roomy, good driving position and glass roof. Also terrific lights as well. Was really happy to get this for the weekend at a bargain price. Hire assistant falling over h myself to get me to upgrade to a Volvo V40 but really glad I didn’t.
Only let down was ridiculous large alloy wheels that scratch if one so much as looks at them funny. We all know that hire car co’s get £££ signs in their eyes at the prospect of a tasty deposit in the event of any scratches.

Today I'm wearing metallic blue just like the color of my car. My outfit is pretty simple: just a tight top and a midi length skirt. The skirt is very wide, so it's nice to take it in my hands and swing it around for a bit of skirt play fun. A blue necklace and matching metallic blue pumps complete the look.

these small bees appear to have the advantage of getting inside a flower through small gaps before the flower fully opens
Female Metallic Green Carpenter Bee, (Xylocopa (Lestis)). These bees are loud and rambunctious and hard to photograph! They really don’t like the paparazzi and were impatient with us. I spotted this female being chased by a male (which, sadly, I wasn’t able to get a good photo of) and he pursued her for ages. She was clearly not interested and busied herself in the Leptospermum flowers after he gave up. Then we came along and harassed her, poor thing! I managed to get some good shots before leaving her bee (yes, I know…). I am really excited about this find as I have not seen a carpenter bee since March of last year. This was my first of the season! Turns out they love the Leptospermum as there were several of them (and a couple of males in pursuit) around the place. (Springwood, Blue Mountains).

The wings is purple FLUORESCENT if you notice it patiently!
The fluorescent purple colour will "BLINK-ing" when flying on above of water surface!
More ATTRACTIVE when there is present of sun light!!!

This is galvanised iron IBR corrugated sheeting, reflecting the colours of the sky, cabin and car!
I just loved the colour tones on the silver sheeting!
Entire build in metallics with Mr Color Deep Clear red and blue on some armor. Alclad II chrome, chrome for lexan, holmatic spectral chrome, hot metal red, hot metal blue all airbrushed over high gloss black. Model master buffing metallics applied sporadically. Mr Color Gloss cote from spray can to seal all.
Mr Color Clear brown used at joints.

Here's a birthday card using a beautiful image by Mary Mata with greeting by Hero Arts. I used a variety of metallic gold elements, including ink, pen, foil paper from fruit, hole-less "beadz", and ribbon. Not all of it shows up well in the photo, but there you have it!

This is the most fun fabric. It's 100% polyester and is machine washable and dryable. It shimmers, is drapey and is so soft and twirlable. I cut two 15 inch lengths straight across the width of the fabric. I sewed them together which gave me about 80 inches. I gathered it up along with the same lengths of babysilk 100% polyester lining fabric and sewed it to the elastic.
