A gold satin curtain panel is transformed into a perfectly pleated skirt. And an unflattering skirt gets a quick makeover into a shiny new shirt.

in 1902, a brickworks owned by the Ormesby Metallic Brick Co. was built on the Flatts Lane site but this company lasted only until 1913. Between 1913 and 1916 the brickworks operated under the ownership of J. Crossley & Sons, a well-known local builders merchants and brick supplier. In 1916 the site was bought by the Cleveland Magnesite and Refractory Co. who would go on to purchase the neighbouring Normanby brickworks two years later. The history of the Ormesby brickworks from this time onwards can be found in the section regarding the Normanby brickworks later on in this article. The buildings related to the brickworks were demolished in the mid 1970s and their foundations covered with soil removed during the construction of the A174 Parkway just to the north of the site. Landscaping and tree building to try and hide the scars of its industrial past was also carried out quite successfully. In 1983 the 14 acre site was purchased by Cleveland County Council for recreational use and was linked to the neighbouring former Normanby brickworks site to create the current Flatts Lane Country Park. Today there is nothing to be seen on the field itself but in the trees to the south a large number of old bricks can be seen. Many of them still had the ‘Ormesby’ stamp, used to denote their place of origin, clearly visible upon them. from yaffle53.wordpress.com/2011/02/01/flatts-lane-country-park/

I love this dress and especially the burgundy red skirt that has such a brilliant metallic shine. The skirt is also very wide so it falls in many beautiful folds and it has a built-in petticoat to give it the volume it deserves.

Day 20

Check out the little dumbbell tattoo - nice touch.

It is a beautiful sunny day so perfect for a drive in Esmi's convertible BMW. The color of the car is burgundy metallic so I'm wearing a dress with nicely matching burgundy metallic skirt and sleeves.

Our dresses have a metallic shine. That may seem rough but the fabric is actually super soft and slippery and very feminine and comfy to wear.

It won't be too long until Molly says farewell to Virgin Atlantic, so a fitting tribute to the once strong fleet of 10 A340-300's which has dwindled to only a rump 3 sees Alpha Romeo gracing the skies on one of Virgin's seasonal flights to Chicago.

The end of 2014 will see Virgin take delivery of their first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which will not only help oust the remaining A340-300's, but will also oust the A340-600's. There is really no surprise that Virgin Atlantic is tempted with the Boeing 787-10.

During the summer, Virgin operate regular one return flights from Heathrow to Chicago, seasonal only because British Airways, American Airlines and United Airlines dominate these services. There was plans for Delta to operate Heathrow to Chicago flights but that fell on the way side, with this route very competitive.

Molly was delivered new to Virgin Atlantic in June 1998 and was originally named 'Diana' but was renamed 'Molly' in 2012 following a repaint into billboard colours. She is powered by 4 CFM International CFM56-5C4 engines.

Airbus A340-313 G-VFAR 'Molly' takes-off from London Heathrow (LHR) on VS39 to Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Illinois.

ODC - Metallic, project365 - #110/365

A dreary day of routine jobs. But I noticed this effect in the kitchen - some of my cooking utensils reflecting in each other & also catching some touches of pink from my phone.

This shiny blue little critter is a Alticini Flea beetle, which is a Leaf beetle with large hind legs... and can they use them! They jump away like a Flea jumps... quick and long.

They don't give you much of an opportunity for a photo most times, they jump away at the slightest disturbance... but sometimes you get lucky :P

The pewter-silver color of this asymmetrical mini dress matched the color of my silvery platform stocking boots perfectly!

Isn't is Great?

Do the fish net hose add to the overall affect?

Portland, OR • My attempt to capture a cool RV/Bus/Trailer thing in fading light.

I am still learning how to capture sunsets/light source and the foreground subject correctly, so I used a gradient filter to cut the light exposure back in the sky. I also had to stack some of the color back in to get the richness of the actual sunset color during the shot. Not sure if the correct terminology or process, but it is all experimental for me.
