Metadata is wrong because this was shot with an adapted manual-focus Canon FD 400mm f/2.8L. I believe this is at 400mm f/2.8, shutter speed and ISO are accurate at 1/1000 and ISO 640.
The Super Class M/V Kaleetan ferry heads southwest from Seattle to Bremerton on Puget Sound. A convergence zone squall line can be seen to the north. Heavy weather, indeed.

I've been going through my old Photoshop notes & was playing around making a dotted brush.
I hand-wrote "Ruffy" with the brush I made, but kept playing with other ways to make dots in the background. At the end, I chose to use this Ruffy pic as it seemed to go with the light to dark fade of the background I made.
No EXIF metadata available, because I made the background 1st, then copy/pasted the Ruffy pic in last. The pic was taken with the new D750 (my new love!!) using a 300mm lens. :o)
And Beware of the Dog!! LOL.

The "Haus des Berliner Verlages" in Berlin, Germany. It's an office building where the "Berliner Zeitung" resides, located directly next to "Alexander Platz".
OK, here is the story regarding this photo (just to annoy :-). Actually, I wanted to shoot another location (the L40 in Berlin). But unfortunately I could not get the right perspective, or whatever. Be it like is is, the photos just did not look "right". So I walked back to Alexander Platz - quite disappointed. Then I saw this building. I drove by this building several times in the past, but somehow never looked at it as this day. It simple isn't a beautiful building. But at the time being, it looked nice. Don't know why - maybe because I had a vision of who it _should_ look like. I did stay there for a while, taking a series of photos. And this is one of them. Hope you like it.
Regarding post-processing: I straightened the perspective, converted to b/w (including some contrast adjustments) and gave it a slight blueish tone. Then I removed some contrast grain and sharpened for output. The post-processing was primarily done in Lightroom, contrast noise has been reduced with Nik Define, output sharpening with Gimp.

Given the metadata, I'm on my way to work I guess?
Sunshine Station in Melbourne, Australia, which underwent a major redevelopment as part of the Regional Rail Link project. The distinctive yellow walls and modern architectural elements are characteristic of its contemporary design.
Sunshine Station is an important transport hub in Melbourne's western suburbs, serving as a junction between metropolitan trains and regional V/Line services to Geelong, Ballarat, and Bendigo. The station's redevelopment was completed around 2014-2015 and included improved accessibility features, new platforms, and better connections between regional and metropolitan services.
The image shows the station early morning, with illuminated light poles and a blue sky. The design features bold yellow/gold paneling along the walls, modern perforated metal fencing, and angular architectural elements that create a striking visual effect. There's a railway track in the foreground, of course, with some weeds and other vegetation growing between the tracks.
The station's modern design represents a significant upgrade from its previous incarnation, with the bright yellow colour scheme making it a distinctive landmark in the area. This architectural choice also helps make the station more visible and welcoming during both day and night hours.

Four blocks down a dusty Winnemucca road is a place that looks for all the world like a 1930s summer camp. I have stayed there multiple times now and can recommend it highly.
This photo? It was made with a Fuji GW690, a camera affectionately known as the Texas Leica. Long exposures with it involve using what they call T mode. The shutter opens when the release is depressed, and stays open until the film advance lever is engaged. The film travels about 1/3 of a stroke of the lever before the shutter closes so if you don't cover the shutter you will get this lateral blur.Me? I do it on purpose, slowly and smoothly working the film advance after a long exposure. This is what results.
The film is Velvia 50. The metadata is from my A7R-iii and macro lens I use to digitize medium format film.
