My wife and kids sang in this abbreviated version of Handel's Messiah. One of the local Catholic congregations donated the use of their facility for this.
English is the official language and over thirty indigenous languages are also spoken within the country. Its coastline is composed mostly of mangroves, while its more sparsely populated inland consists of forests opening onto a plateau of drier grasslands. www.messiahmissionsforafrica.org

Apples grow real big out here. This fall sunday my RAs and I traveled the dipping roads of our landscape to an apple orchard near school, where we picked a bushel of apples for a marathon baking session for an open house at my apartment monday night. Amidst flying flour sunday evening, we breaked for bowls of homemade french onion soup. If only it wasn't 85 degrees outside, it would have been, nearly, perfect.
