Morris Cowley (1919)
The updated Cowley for 1919 had an engine made by the British branch of the French Hotchkiss company, which was essentially a copy of the early Continental unit which was no longer being made. It was the basic model of the Morris two car range of the time with the Oxford, which used the same engine until 1923, having leather upholstery and upgraded lighting as the de-luxe version.
Morris acquired the British interests of Hotchkiss in 1923 and renamed them Morris engines branch.

The message board at the Valencia Street end of Clarion Alley where news is painted on the wall the way some people hang up flyers. This mural announces the 9th Annual Block Party which took place in October. CAMP (The Clarion Alley Mural Project, an artists' collective formed in October, 1992) hosts the annual Block Party that has consistently brought over 1,000 people to the celebration.

Everyone's making these now, oui? I just joined postcrossing and need a cool place to put all of my incoming postcards from around the world. :)
Now I just need to finish the thing. Word to the wise: don't buy pieces of cloth that are smaller than the board, even if it's the only fabric design you like and it's not available in bulk. It's not worth the hass of piecing it together... (Unless you're one of those smart people with a sewing machine and a patient streak.)

We've got a little whiteboard on our refrigerator. This is an impromptu drawing of a rose that I did on it. There are parts of this drawing that I don't like, but it's honest. It was quickly drawn with a mushed old marker without erasing any lines. (So please forgive the more obvious problems.)
North Carolina Central University just happens to test its brand-new clock/message board on 12/12/12; it's also cool that 12 x 12 = 44 (Durham NC 2012)
