Anna's Hummingbird trying to get a drink from the newly functioning bird bath fountain. He didn't seem to want to bathe, but did want a drink!

Four month old Jordan was sleepy until this jumper with activity center was unwrapped.

Millet at Sunrise. I could have really used a split ND filter here but alas, I did not have it with me. Lesson learned. I lot of light pushing here. Thanks for the look and have a great evening.

If I had to choose a gaze that I find truly mesmerizing, I would have to pick that of the leopard. Eyes that seem as wide a saucer with an iris of brilliant green encircled by a rim of golden foil. It’s a gaze that seems to pierce its subject to the core, freezing them in their tracks. I have more than once stared intently into the eyes of a leopard at close range. The sheer power and determination of its glare inspired awe as well as trepidation and I felt truly lucky to be in the safety of a vehicle at the time. #Leopard

A stunning sunset two days ago. Luckily the winter hasn't got a hold on us yet. The wet shoes are still with me, but the mosquitos are all gone :)

We were covered in sweat and soil and had spent almost an hour with the things before I convinced him to come in. But I just love his dreamy focus on animals. Any animals.

See it larger.

Milu is fascinated with light and can sit and look at it for hours. A shaft of daylight, the beam from a torch and even the light of a camera - she is totally spellbound

I think I may get her a glitterball for Christmas:-))

Happy Weekend!

I think this picture is just fun to look at. I love how blocking opens up all the eyelets and makes the pattern pop!! blogged

Paris summer 2008 .

A bee's-eye view of a Globe Thistle in full bloom. These beautiful flowers are magnets for honey bees - I literally had to elbow my way in to get this. You can hear them buzzing nearby if you listen closely. :)

The Helix Bridge @ Marina Bay, Singapore.

I needed a close up for myself, snow day gave me the time to look :) Never thought I would say I love Ottawa.

Overlooking Lake Lowell a bit past sunset. I liked the gray mountains and the gray clouds.

Mesmerized by the seemingly endless tidal flats at Miranda on the Firth of Thames, New Zealand

I haven't finished Milla's photos until today, 4 months after I photographed her - since she got adopted right after I visited the center of The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals that month, and didn't need the photos for any ad.

But she was a really beautiful and cuddly cat, and I hope that her life is great now ツ

My album of cats and rabbits here.

To create an aura of softness, I used a glamour effect post processing as part of my portrait photography learning process. This photo of my co-office mate while she was engrossed viewing my photostream inside my office.

The view above was as incredible as the view over the mountains. It was hard choosing which shot to take.
