Mesmerized at the sight of this black forest with a couple of white birch trees and these winter reluctant leaves dancing for us.
You may say i'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one...

On our trip to Yellowknife and the Southern Arctic in 2019, I was so fortunate to see and photograph spectacular Northern Lights for the first time. They were absolutely mesmerizing to watch. This night gave me a particularly stunning show as the lights swirled around in the sky. I wanted to try a time lapse the next night, but as luck would have it, they were very weak. Taken in Fort Providence, Northwest Territories. I was hoping for another trip this fall but COVID put an end to that. Hopefully next year 2021.
Thank you for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.
I used the Mesmerized pose by Gravity Poses - from the Herselfie gacha collection available at the Four Seasons event from 8th Jan.
Mesmerized
I'm looking in the Mirror of my soul
And Seeing the most enticing you
In your Eyes i see mine
Twinkling with that same Desire
Glowing with the strength of our Love so true
In your Smile i find mine
Playing with Thoughts untold
Holding a Promise to come through
In your Kiss i feel mine
A moment of the Essence
Beholding our future we View
(Poem from Bram Jarom)
*we build the poses together and all details of this work... was soooo great!!
Day 4: from Vík to Landmannalaugar
The route of this day was one of the most beautiful in the trip. We depart from Vík and take the road to Landmannalaugar, populary kown as " coloured mountains", I hope you understand why.... =O)
So dificult for me select only seven photos to show us this day... maybe I need share any more...hahaha.
Have a great day my friends!!

My first attempt at creating bubbles. Taken through a rather dirty window, hence the texture.

The Lotus beckons I - where the lotus pond was shot.
Those golden eyes have a hold on my mind and I just can't seem to look away. I am transfixed by the beauty and intensity of this Short-eared Owl.

We have a new addition to our little family! Meet Bumble (short for Bumblebee) the kitten! He’s so soft and has the sweetest temperament. He’s all black except for the very tip of his tail, which is white.
We’ve had him for just over two weeks. I wish I had a better photo to share with you, but this is the best I can do for now. He never stops moving, and when he’s still, he moves away when I get the camera out. I was able to get him to sit still for a couple of seconds with this groovy, blue (bokeh) ball. He was mesmerized! Wouldn’t you be? :))
Anyway, I will probably take this down later, but I just wanted to show you. 💙

I've been watchin' you for some time
Can't stop starin' at those ocean eyes
Burning cities and napalm skies
Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes
Your ocean eyes
No fair
You really know how to make me cry
When you gimme those ocean eyes
I'm scared
I've never fallen from quite this high
Fallin' into your ocean eyes
Those ocean eyes
I've been walkin' through a world gone blind
Can't stop thinkin' of your diamond mind
Careful creature made friends with time
He left her lonely with a diamond mind
And those ocean eyes

This is one of the photos I took of Sethi last week when he was in a cooperative mood. :) Round-eyed Sethi was trying to decide which of the toys he should pounce on first. It was a difficult decision as he has many toys. :)
Another one from Mount Si, a bit up the road from the first. The fog is burning off FAST and the mountain is making it's appearance and having never been here before I was mesmerized.
Let me know when you get tired of these, I could go on for a while..... :-)

Hiking the Fairy Falls trail to the Grand Prismatic Overlook one gets to see this spectacle of nature.
We had a bison on the trail as we were hiking up there that we had to be careful of. It’s always strange and sort of mesmerizing to see wildlife come out of nowhere and be so close to us in the wild. I had seen so many news stories and videos while researching the park about how insane people can get when visiting Yellowstone. Many people get hurt or worse yet killed when they don’t take wildlife seriously. They can also put the animals lives in danger.
How about those colors? Give the image a click to view it in larger detail. The width of the springs in relation to the people walking near plus the camper van parked in the scene.

This shot is from a place from where I haven't been posting yet ! Quebec. This is Waber Falls from the Mauricie National Park Ok, it's not Iguacu or Niagara Falls but still, this is a very scenic waterfall with a big advantage : much less tourists than the two mentionned previously haha. Here's the reason : to get there you need to row about 4km (upstream because it wouldn't be funny otherwise !!) and then hike a few kilometers. It's not hard (but trying to carry you camera stuff on a kayak and not wet it is a bit harder haha) but accessing the waterfall requires enough time and energy to screen a loooot of people ! So okay, you probably won't be alone there but it won't be crowded (especially now since most people are back to school/work). It's definitely worth it !
I would love to go back there during the autumn to shoot this scenery with orange colors. I like this picture so I decided to share it with you guys but in my opinion it could have been better with a tripod... Because yes, I forgot one of the piece of the tripod in the car so I had to build a support with rocks in the middle of the stream in order to be able to do a long exposure shot. So please be gentle with the lack of sharpness in this picture ;)
I hope you'll like it anyway ! Feel free to comment or put it in you favorites, it's always nice to have a feedback ! :)
