Yum.

I purchased some simple things to complete this composition. The colors in the foreground were complimentary to each other, and they made the white background less important.

I don't drink wine. However, the grapes are good.

Night Shot of Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood. Although I did not design the logo, I did design all their exterior signage. They have locations in Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis and will soon open new locations in Columbus, Ohio, Madison, Wisconsin, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. This shot was taken to be used on our company website and portfolio.

Auf dem 1860 von Angelo Grigolli angelegten Weingut Concilio im südlichen Trient, genauer im beschaulichen Dorf Mori, gedeihen seit jeher auf kiesigen, tonhaltigen und an Spurenelementen reichen Schwemmlandböden die Reben für den Concilio Merlot unter dem Motto „Qualität, Charakter und Stil“. Dem Abbeeren schließt sich ein konventioneller Ausbau an: zehntägige Maischegärung auf den Hülsen für ebenmäßige Tanninstruktur und Farbtiefe; anschließend Reife in slawonischen Eichenfässern.

Die Früchte dieser langjährig praktizierten Philosophie schlagen sich dann in der rubinroten, von Granatreflexen durchzogenen Farbe sowie den zarten und gleichsam stilvollen Tanninen des lagerungsfähigen Weins aus dem trentiner Talgrund nieder. In der Nase bedenkt er mit floral-fruchtigen Anklängen an Tabak und rote Beeren; am Gaumen lässt er dem Verkoster daraufhin fein strukturierte, vollmundige Impressionen weicher Holznuancen nebst schwarzpfeffrig-würzigem Saveur zuteilwerden, bevor er sich mit salomonischem Abgang verabschiedet.

Ein Ensemble aus Concilio Merlot und Vesperplatte mit rotem Fleisch und Käse dürfte bei einem jeden Gefallen finden.
