The first meal we served to guests in our new home. Duck pate, avocado, homemade bread, merlot, and pasta with caramelized onions.
This morning we awoke to sounds of farmworkers harvesting the Merlot grapes in the vineyard below our room. Here are two of the workers busy cutting the bunches.
this was at a Marilyn Monroe Auction, they sold what seemed like a million books about her, a few of her personal items, and some photographs of her. There were also some paintings of her, but I didn't think too much of them. My favorite thing there was the bottle of Marilyn Merlot, and the giant poster board, I bid on it but didn't get it :(
I did come out with two books that were full of photographer of her.
