This unusual cropping of the Merchandise Mart makes it seem less massive. However, you can still feel the strength of the Art Deco design in the minimal set backs and intriguing corner pavilions.

À moins que Disney fasse des brosses à toilette "Cars", je pensent bien que mon fils possède maintenant tous les produits dérivés possible de ce film...

Unless Disney makes "Cars" branded toilet brushes, I believe my son now has every possible product from that movie.

in metro manila there is a saying, "if you can't find what you're searching for, go to divisoria". divisoria is the premier place for cheap, difficult to find merchandises. it is located in manila very close to the port area. here are some images

I visited Disneyland the afternoon of Sunday February 11, 2018. It was sunny, 60F, and very crowded.

There is a reorganization being done in the World of Disney, so various merchandise were moved from their previous locations. In particular, the main part of the Pin Trading department was now located in a temporary location outside of the store.

I bought postcards of some new Disney Princess portraits by Whitney Pollett, of Cinderella, Briar Rose, Ariel and Rapunzel. My favorite of them was Rapunzel, and it was the only one whose original art ($800) was already sold. I also bought a deluxe print of Martin Hsu's Maleficent and Crow.

From Off the Page in California Adventure Park, I got their last copy of Darren Wilson's Sleeping Beauty Kiss (gallery wrap, #49 of 295, $150), which they took of the wall.

I found out that the construction down Main Street was to redo the tracks of the horse drawn trolley, which is to be completed in this Spring. There were posters on the construction barriers of various Main Street attractions, some of which I photographed. From Disneyana I got a artist sketch of Tinker Bell. From 20th Century Music Company I got a new Elena of Avalor pin. From Crystal Arts I got a newly released Snow White compact mirror, by Arribas ($45). They also had mirrors featuring Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Elsa and Mickey. They are now providing discounts for Disneyland annual passholders. I saw the 2018 Swarovski Rapunzel and Pascal crystal figurines for the first time. They also had a new Tinker Bell crystal figurine. I saw Linda Rick and her Precious Moments dolls, including some mini dolls that I hadn't seen before. I had dinner at Plaza Inn then left for home.

I walked past this lady initially, but realized something and suddenly stopped dead in my tracks and retraced my steps. She is selling what? Live rabbits? That's most unusual! I've heard of live birds, puppies, kittens and even snakes, but rabbits? The lady was quite happy for me to shoot her and her precious wares, as she was probably aware of the uniqueness of her offerings. Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world. There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. (Manila, Philippines, May 2013)

Here is a 10-shot Panoramic taken from Wacker Drive. It started as a three shot to get the Mart in, but I thought why not make it high detailed. I know it is distorted, I tried my best to fix it a little, but I like the feel of it.

I did end up buying that game guide, and the 2016 calendar (at the back).

Main event merchandise display. Event Registration tables. The sign in the wall was projected, as was most of the wall signs in the exhibit hall.

I went to the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration Merchandise Event at the Disneyland Hotel Convention Center today, on Wednesday May 20, 2015. I met up with a fellow collector at the event. We also went on a related trek to Downtown Disney to get DL60 merchandise that was not available at the event.

We lined up outside the entrance to the exhibit hall of the convention center at around 6:30 am. We were let in at 7 am. Displayed along the hallway where we lined up to get registered were all the merchandise that were available at the event, most of which was in the catalog and able to be pre-ordered.

After we registered for the event, we got a couple of nice gifts. One was a throw pillow decorated with an image of the first ticket to the opening of Disneyland to the general public on July 18, 1955, and on the reverse a greeting from Walt Disney. It is about 15'' L x 8'' W x 6'' D. The other was a glass paperweight/ornament in the shape of a cut diamond, in a blue velvet bag. On the bottom is the logo and dates for the event. It is 3'' in diameter and 2'' high, and very beautiful.

We went into a room where we got out pre-ordered merchandise. I had to make a couple of trips to my car to unload all my good. One was not ready yet, and is to shipped to my home. It is the Tinker Bell cel, with signed postcard and pin. It was the pin that wasn't ready yet. I did see the cel up close, and it is very beautiful. I got a nice surprise when my Snow White Scary Adventures framed canvas print was #2 of 95. It and the frame was very impressive up close. I helped my friend carry his goods to his hotel room.

After we returned, we went to the event "store" to order additional items. I took some photos of the silent auction items, which were mostly very rare or one of kind items related to Disneyland.

We then went to the World of Disney in Downtown Disney to look at and buy some DL60 goods, including the DL60 Doll, who is unnamed in the box. She has the face mold of Snow White, but has blue eyes and long blonde hair. I think she looks like Taylor Swift. The store was very busy with shoppers, most of which were buying DL60 goods. There was an amazing number and variety of DL60 merchandise, especially considering that May 22 is supposed to be real kickoff to the DL60 celebrations.

It was a fun and expensive day in Disneyland Resort. I was also there on Friday for the 24-hour event and kickoff to the formal DL60 celebrations.

This was a real up and down day for the weather. When I left home in Downers Grove I was under full sun but by time I got to Glen Ellyn clouds ruled! I almost turned around, but decided to stick it out, a good move because just as the first train showed up the sun popped out!
