Building for retailing and wholesale business. Built in art deco style and opened in 1930. It was then the largest building in the world. Architects: Graham, Anderson, Probst & White. Built by Marshall Field & Co. and later owned for over half a century by the Kennedy family.
Once I landed in Chicago, I took a few pictures of an MD-82, which I'm not used to seeing, and then my dad picked me up. We drove to the city, and along the Chicago River past this building, which is known as the Merchandise Mart. According to Wikipedia, it opened in 1930 and was once the largest building in the world.
Anyway, my girlfriend wants to watch a show with me, so that's all for now!

It was kind of obvious that they had rushed it back. Only one design was available, and only on giant buttons, posters, shirts, etc. No enamel pins or anything else.

Built by Marshall Field's from 1928-1931, it consolidated 13 warehouses into a single building, the largest in the world at the time.

Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise - Chicago, IL
When opened in 1930, the Merchandise Mart or the Mart, located in the Near North Side, Chicago, Illinois, was the largest building in the world with 4,000,000 square feet (372,000 m2) of floor space.[1][2] Previously owned by the Marshall Field family, the Mart centralized Chicago's wholesale goods business by consolidating vendors and trade under a single roof.[2] Massive in its construction, and serving as a monument to early 20th century merchandising and architecture, the art deco landmark anchors the daytime skyline at the junction of the Chicago River branches. With upper levels bathed in colored floodlight, the structure stands out against darker downtown buildings in night views. The building continues to be a leading retailing and wholesale destination, hosting 20,000 visitors and tenants per day.[3][4]

This is the first time I've been sucked into buying crappy movie merchandising. Obviously, I bought it for the rat. The bio on the other side called him Templeton the Sardonic Rat.

My brother and his girl friend launched their wine import business over the weekend.
It was a "Wine pairing dinner" held at the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong. About 100 invited guests attended a 6 course degustation menu paired with a selection of fine wines from Italy. I was the "official" photographer until I started to sample the fine merchandise. Then I retired.
The website is still a work in progress but they do have a facebook page
