Menu at the kitschy (and smoky) Marxim's Pizzeria in Buda.
Click "All Sizes" for a closer look, and check out the names of some of the pizzas: Red October, Gulag Pizza, the Master and Margherita pie (ha!), Kulak pizza, Kremlin pizza, and others.
Our favorite was the Siberian Dream -- sour cream, tuna, cheese, garlic and olives. M thought it looked good, and she was right.
I know it might seem a little weird to western tastes, but it was really delicious.

Menu AUD5 Pizzas - Miss Libertine
---
Lunch with the team at Miss Libertine.
$5 pizzas, so we had 2 each! :)
Nice thin base with crispy edges and good quality toppings. Maybe the bases could be a little crisper.

i think this really helped the tasters get an idea of what they were about to eat. kudos to Annie on the design, and well, creating the entire menu, getting recipes, buying ingredients. basically, i was just there looking pretty and carrying wood.
Here is my odd ball photo of the month a menu from Bill Knapps. My friend picked this up at an estate sale as this brought back some memories. If you lived in Michigan for any length of time you know about these restaurants. They were very popular among the "older crowd" but offered really good food and great chocolate cake. We used to always go here as a family on Sundays when I was younger. They expanded into Florida breifly but eventually all closed down in the late 90's or so. You can stil buy the cakes today but sadly all the restaurants are gone.
