I shot my MM photo through the top of a crystal candy dish filled with Reese's minis.
There is always a candy dish on our counter filled with seasonal candy.

This theme inspires me a lot, I've done several photos of different objects in my kitchen (you can see some of them in my gallery or in comments).
I choose this photo for Macro Mondays because I really love its graphic look.
It's the detail of a knife on a frying pan.
Of course you need to use a cupcake spatula to make cupcakes :-) HMM
I made a mistake, I thought it was # In the kitchen drawer, not just the kitchen. Ha!

Part of the ring on my gas cooker. We've had it for about 20 years now: it does get cleaned occasionally, but a lot of that muck is welded on pretty thoroughly! I did try an alternate shot for Macro Monday with more moody lighting- it's also in my photostream: let me know which you prefer.

Not sure if you’ll need to brush up on your investigation skills to know what this item from the kitchen is. Happy Macro Mondays everyone.
I'm still away but wanted to partake in this weeks theme. This image is cropped to meet the 3" requirements. Happy Macro Monday everyone!

Boiling water. I've deliberately shown the cup markers to indicate that this is within the group's rules. It measures 60mm from top to bottom. HMM!
Salt and pepper are the most common spices that you can find in the kitchen, but imagine you are a Lilliput…
to post the appointments, notes, or hang a what not, the refrigerator magnet is an important kitchen helper. 2.75 inch by 2.75 inch for the Member's choice "Found in the Kitchen" Macro Monday.
For the Macro Mondays group, on the subject of 'Found in the Kitchen' - this is the blades of a pair of kitchen scissors.
Quite a minimalist shot, and I think it works fairly well...
My husband and I picked up these little ceramic egg coddlers many years ago at an antiques shop, and we’ve hardly ever used them. Their main job is to look pretty on the window sill above my kitchen sink.
They are champions at creating gently cooked eggs, though. I took some liberties for the photo, taking a lid off for a peek and bringing the water to a full boil, rather than a gentle simmer.
