Clocktower Place in Maynard, MA. Formerly the Assabet Woolen Mill, the largest woolen mills in the world. Now converted to offices and home to such notable companies as Monster.com and Powell Flutes.
Maynard was under a towel when I took this, hence his eyes being in "dark mode." This is almost the biggest they get.

My intention was to capture this still life of pears. A lot of professional still lives are shot of pears so I figured I'd give it a try and try many different shots. I worked in groups of three pears and for this shot I wanted to work on grouping the pears differently so the focal point is the pear alone on the right versus the pair of pears on the left. It is interesting because it kind of seems like the pear on the right is left out of a conversation the two pears on the left are having because the two left pears looks very similar compared to the right pear.
