A Paróquia São Pedro, conhecida também como Igreja São Pedro, cuja construção atual foi inaugurada no início da década de 1940, fica no centro da cidade de Gramado. Sua torre tem 46 metros de altura e grande parte de seu revestimento foi feito com pedras. De dentro da igreja, que pode ser visitada sem qualquer custo, é possível admirar mais de perto os vitrais sacros de seu altar. Embora seja uma igreja simples, sua arquitetura é muito bonita e a construção tem um grande apreço dos moradores locais. Na frente da igreja, está uma praça com estátuas em homenagem aos apóstolos
Seen from the ferry to Pico, this waterfront lies in Matriz, the oldest part of the City of Horta on Faial Island in the Azores. The area was founded around 1467 by Joss d'Utra, son of Flemish pioneer Josse van Huerter, who originally brought Flemish settlers to the island. In 1498, King Manuel I of Portugal established the religious parish of Matriz do Santíssimo Salvador here by royal decree.
The tower visible just left of center in the photo marks the site of the original Catholic church, Matriz de São Salvador, inaugurated on June 28, 1514. This church was sacked in 1589 by British privateers and in 1597 burnt by English forces under Walter Raleigh, who burned many of the town’s religious sites. Reconstruction took place between 1607 and 1615, and in the early 18th century, the clock tower was added with a mechanism imported from England. Although the church was damaged by multiple earthquakes, it stood until 1825 when all but the clock tower was demolished. Today, the clock tower, Torre do Relógio, remains as a tribute to the early church and settlers.

Hoje resolvi ir na Caçula comprar novas matrizes e aproveitei claaaaaaaaaaaaaaro para comprar outras coisinhas.
Achei o tecidinho de cereja que tanto queria e não achava nunca. O florido tb tava difícil de achar daí aproveitei.
Nunca fui e voltei tão bem e rápido do Centro, a cidade está super calma pq é véspera de feriado.
Lá na Caçula tive o prazer de conhecer a Carla, super querida e simpática, ficamos tricotando enquanto esperávamos alguém nos atender. Só falta encontrar ela por aqui. Ô Carla, kd vc???????? =)

Iglesia Matriz: ubicada en el centro de la ciudad, construida después de la primera Iglesia de Cotacachi, cuenta con varias obras de la escuela de arte de Quito, con altares de pan de oro y está conformada por 6 capillas. Esta iglesia conserva un estilo neoclásico, en ella se combina la arquitectura Griega y Romana, en su interior se encuentran obras de arte del siglo XVIII y cuenta con varias de la escuela de arte de Quito.
