1940 or 41 Chevy Master Deluxe abandoned in the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, CA.
Going back to 1919 The Alabama Hills have been a popular filming location for television and movie productions, especially Westerns with hundreds of movies having been shot there.
I've done some digging to see if I can link this car to a movie shot in the area, but I've had no luck beyond identifying the car.
It was Master Windu who led two hundred and twelve Jedi into combat at the Battle of Geonosis and slew the infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett.

In 1969, Island Tug and Barge Limited was acquired by Genstar Limited of Vancouver, British Columbia. Where the tug retained her name. The tug is no longer in documentation. Her current, and or, final disposition is unknown.

I think this is probably the first image i've uploaded to Flickr from my Iphone and its definitely the first image that i've processed using Snapseed whilst being driven at high speed - by a driver who was deliberately trying to sabotage me by swerving the car every time i tried to swipe one of the sliders!
