Well I couldn't help it with this photo. Charlie was doing his Yoda/Zen Master look while surveying the yard while I was chasing butterflies and bees.
Of course it is not difficult to take pictures with the D850.
But this camera has so many possibilities that I certainly don't know all of them yet.
This 600+ page book should reveal all the secrets :)
It will probably take several weeks to go through the whole book, but step by step, a little bit each day.
I showed the donkey master yesterday, here are the donkeys, taken at campsite above Carhuacocha lake. These animals transport food, tents, luggage and supplies during the trek. The small stream at the bottom right corner is the water supply for the campsite. MUST boil before drinking.

This is the second picture I took of him. Even with all the branches, it was easier to spot him than when he was lined up with the tree trunk.

Karate master
Bio: born in the poorest part of china, Karat E. Master survived almost solely on his skills in self defence. But fear him not, for most of his foes flee at the sight of his killer mustache.

Lotus 78/2 driven by Lee Mowle. I'm posting a larger number of pics of this car because I think it's one of the most beautiful F1 cars ever made. Topped the following year by the Lotus 79 but both in my top 10 of all time best looking F1 cars.
The Lotus 78 "wing car" was a Formula One racing car used in the 1977 and 1978 seasons. It was designed by Peter Wright, Colin Chapman, Martin Ogilvie and Tony Rudd, and was the car that started the ground effect revolution in Formula One.

Yes, I have been playing Shogun II.
Based (heavily) on Titolian's lovely Samurai dio.

Here they are - the two top-notch road switchers of the mid 1950s, meeting face to face: Fairbanks-Morse H-24-66 'Train Master' (right) and Alco RSD-7 (left), both rated at 2400hp.
I thought I'd share this photo because I found it interesting to see the differences between the two locomotive designs, notably the stretched short hood of the Alco with notched corners for the sand fills, or the higher level of the FM's walkways. Both were MU-capable, but obviously not compatible.
The C-trucks of the two were quite similar in real life, both showing the unequal axle spacing. The Lego versions on my models are slightly different in length, though, with the FM being the older one. I guess I'll update it to the new version, which is 1 stud shorter and better hides the clearance caused by the outer axle being articulated. With this, the FM will be finished, after one and a half years of tuning and tweaking details. Maybe.
