Cross mask and dress in decayed abandoned farmhouse.

I Went to the Ron Mueck Exhibition not so long ago, probably one of the most impressive exhibitions i have been to in a long time. The Head here is called Mask II, and is a self portrait.

The kenner toys mobilearmoredstrikekommand or just M.A.S.K, is a 80stoys example of how good toys were back in those days.

These midiscale replicas all do transform the way the real toys did.

Day 7 of Block-O-Ween. Today's theme is "Mask"

The Mask is a 1994 American superhero fantasy comedy film directed by Charles Russell, produced by Bob Engelman, and written by Mike Werb, based on the comic series of the same name distributed by Dark Horse Comics. The film stars Jim Carrey, Peter Greene, Amy Yasbeck, Peter Riegert, Richard Jeni, Ben Stein, Joely Fisher, and Cameron Diaz in her film debut. It revolves around an unlucky bank clerk finding a mask that grants the wearer cartoon-like superpowers.

"Our love is like a red, red rose.

And I am a little thorny.

Je t'adore! Je t'adore!

Shoot the window. I don't care!" - Jim Carrey, The Mask

I decided to make a second entry. The frame on this one is a fair bit better than my Mask of Murk, I think.

I just hope my masks aren't too "creepy" for LEGO to consider. =|

A somewhat different kind of wooden jaguar mask -- this one made in Carpinteros, Hidalgo and seen at the Tucson Museum of Art

This is a mask I created for a collaborative art experience w/ the band Colour Music for their show at DFEST 07' in Tulsa. The mask is actually red, I took it elsewhere in this shot.

This mask is made of 70% Madagascan chocolate and nestles on a bed of chocolate pearls and cocoa nibs. This and other fine chocolate can be found in Paul A Young's shop in Camden Passage, London N1.

I would have titled this something like "Masked Portrait," but every portrait I take involves a mask.

They served me well, then came N95 and KN95 and they were bested. I mostly wore them over a hospital issued surgical mask (that provided not enough protection) to provide an additional layer and a better interface between me and the pediatric patients. So far, hospital acquired COVID 0.

Mask folded from elephanthide paper and painted with Pebeo paints - "Vitrail" and "Fantasy Fusion" -

Vitrail is a translucent paint intended for use on glass, metal and other non-porous surfaces - The Fantasy Fusion paints are intended for non-porous, flat and level surfaces - So naturally I'm using them on three dimensional paper sculpture.

Detail from a photo that I took at in museum in Belgium of a sculpture. The mask fits better after putting in the metal for the bridge of the nose & strap adjustments.
