I Went to the Ron Mueck Exhibition not so long ago, probably one of the most impressive exhibitions i have been to in a long time. The Head here is called Mask II, and is a self portrait.

Tsuyu's mask painted! It is far darker than the one I made for my Unoa 5 years ago, but I like it this way.
I used wood clay, epoxy paste and an old clay I don't remember the name (I removed its wrapping around 8 years ago ^^'). Painted with acrylics - red, brown, different shade of gold and a layer of a changing color painting.

I'm gonna do something I usually don't do; I'm getting on a soapbox.
This is about wearing your mask when around others. I've seen a lot of people locally who either are not wearing a mask at all, or who aren't doing it correctly. Pull the mask over both your mouth and nose when you have to go into the stores, please.
The result of not wearing masks is, people continue to get sick.
My parents both worked in the medical field and had to wear masks often. And for those who think you can't breathe, that somehow you aren't getting enough oxygen... that's incorrect. Doctors and nurses don't pass out from lack of oxygen in the OR. They measure their oxygen levels with and without masks and guess what? They are the same.
The U.S. is one of the only countries that doesn't have COVID-19 under control. Wearing a mask is proven to help. The virus doesn't care one bit about your political thoughts or your skin color. It isn't about politics, it's about getting this thing under control.
We should have had this under control awhile ago, but it is getting worse in the U.S. instead.
For the record, I don't like wearing masks either, but I do it for each and every one of you.

Taking Care Of Each Other In The Pandemic
In a grocery store parking lot I stood in that pose and with that look we've all learned that says, Damn, I forgot my mask. This young woman and child in the rear seat of a parked car saw me and she understood and she motioned to offer me a mask. When I asked to take her picture I realized she didn't speak English. We've learned new ways to recognize, and communicate, small important things about one another, like reading the eyes above the masks to tell if someone is smiling or frowning at us.
This mask is made of 70% Madagascan chocolate and nestles on a bed of chocolate pearls and cocoa nibs. This and other fine chocolate can be found in Paul A Young's shop in Camden Passage, London N1.

Wish I had figured out how to do that years ago. People have always been able to tell exactly what I am thinking! And right now that should warn Hadley he's in danger. He's reveling in drinking his tea, when he knows I'm not allowed food or drink. Surgery on my knee scheduled for noon. How the heck can I go that long without sustenance? Inhumane.
I wanted to wait and take my selfie in my oxygen mask but doubted the surgeon would let me take my camera in !
