Everyone has someone, a friend, a lover, some skill or work.
But I am alone
with the dream of my Beloved
hidden in the corner of my heart :)
Following a suggestion from my man-at-arms Columb, I decided to use my fingers to mark victories. Pointing to the side which one the last bout. Towards the end of a series of passes, I'd have two fingers pointing one way and three the other... that kind of thing.
Not sure if anyone noticed.

This area used to be a Japanese garrison site during WWII. It is located about 10km from a port constructed before the war. Many locations in the area turned out positive to our detector. If you want to visit and detect and interested to finance a treasure hunting expedition in the area, you can contact me at goldyamashita@yahoo.com. Location is in the province of Camarines Sur.

Hong Kong Transport - Misc. Vehicles
The Hong Kong Van Culture and some oddities
Quite a number of these vehicles are listed | shown in other albums ie Trucks
This is for vehicles that do not fit into the obvious catagories such as large trucks, buses, etc and I should point out that quite a few brands that offer VANS also sell them as a CAR making it hard to categorise, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Toyota and Volkswagen are an example.
☛ This list of Misc. Vehicles can include:
Hearses ✚ Tow Trucks ✚ Armoured Vans ✚ Garbage Trucks ✚ Delivery Vehicles ✚ Ice Cream Vans ✚ Bucket Crane Trucks ✚ Road Cleaning Trucks ✚ Parcel Delivery Vehicles ✚ Utility Company Vehicles ✚ Medium Sized Company Vehicles ✚ Village Vehicles ( seen on our Outlying Islands ) ✚ Company Vans such as the popular Toyota Hiace + Nissan Urvan to name 2 brands ✚ Vans with NO company markings which get involved in anything and everything if you get my meaning.
☛Note that there are some oddities such as Rickshaws, Steamrollers, Diggers and Fork Lift Trucks and such
These are privately owned vehicles although a lot of vehicles are owned by companies with contracts with the Hong Kong Government.
Any Government OWNED Vehicle in this section has a licence plate starting AM
Naturally some of these vehicles have personalized licence plates which they buy at Government Auction!

this sundial/sculpture is one of the interesting sights to see most will pas on by when traveling the US Interstate Highways.
PROOF, that its not the destination that counts in life ,but the journey one takes.
Wonderful dinner marking the close of the joint meeting of North American, European and Asian library directors at Stanford. The final event was a dinner at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside, California. The beautiful location in the Santa Cruz mountains sits high in the hills overlooking the San Francisco Bay.
This marking workstation is manufactured from a modular aluminum structural framing system.
The high-strength aluminum profiles provide the stability of an optical instrument with the rigidity
and durability of a machine tool.
Using a white pencil to transfer box-pleating diagonals from the crease pattern. The long diagonals eventually become legs (sort of); and there's a lot of fussy stuff at the top that becomes head details (antennae, mandibles, eyes). The little diamonds in the middle of the paper are called level shifters; they are used to make the abdomen wider than the head and thorax.
There is a "knock out" in the casting on the back of the firebox, by finding the centre of this then drilling it from the rear, it is then possible to use a hole saw from the front, drilling out the "knock out" thus negating the need to remove the firebox, which may not be possible with a built in four door Aga.

Ireland isn't just green hills and castles!
