I put the fabric in the freezer for 5 minutes. I know we don't put quilts in the freezer, but quilts do get cold in the car overnight in the winter. :) You can see the Frixion Pen reappeared after freezing.

For the marking tools, I used a blue Mark-B-Gone pen, a white Crayola colored pencil, a "Dressmaker's Marking Pencil", a yellow Crayola colored pencil, and a black Frixion pen.

Solids are Kona White and Kona Charcoal.
