On February 19th, we held a ceremony marking the return of the Nisei Soldier Congressional Gold Medal to Washington, D.C., after its seven-city tour. It is the highest civilian award in the United States.
The Congressional Gold Medal was awarded to the 100th Infantry Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service veterans by the U.S. Congress Nov. 2, 2011, in recognition of their exceptional service, sacrifice and loyalty to America. It will be displayed from Feb. 19 to June 1 on the third floor in the east wing of the museum. Later this year, when a space has been constructed, the medal will be on display in the “Price of Freedom” exhibition.
In spite of forced incarceration and rampant wartime prejudice, more than 33,000 second-generation Japanese Americans (nisei) volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II. Of those, 19,000 served in the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service, where they proved their loyalty to America and became the most decorated unit of its size in U.S. military history.

I like to tab the drop outs before brazing to get a little more purchase/bite inside the stay. Here I'm scribing the line before cutting.

Properly marking the floor of a plant or facility can help prevent accidents and improve efficiency by clearly marking storage areas and equipment or walking paths. Brady’s ToughStripe pre-spaced floor marking dashes make it easy to lay straight, evenly spaced lines without a machine applicator. This requires less manpower for set-up and maintenance and the pre-spaced floor marking dashes are already formatted to ensure consistent spacing and look.

The Citabria is a light single-engine, two-seat, fixed conventional gear airplane which entered production in the United States in 1964. Designed for flight training, utility, and personal use, it is capable of sustaining aerobatic stresses (+5/-2g). Its name, "airbatic" spelled backward, reflects this.
Variants
7ECA, Citabria Standard, Citabria Aurora
Introduced in 1964, the 7ECA was the first version of the design and utilized the Continental O-200-A engine of 100 horsepower (75 kW). When introduced, it featured wood-spar wings and oleo-shock main gear. Within the first year of production, Champion began offering the Lycoming O-235-C1 engine of 115 horsepower (86 kW) as an alternative to the Continental. In 1967, Champion switched to spring steel main gear legs; by then, the Lycoming engine had become the standard. On acquiring the design, Bellanca gave this model the name Citabria "Standard" and at some point began using the 115 horsepower (86 kW) Lycoming O-235-K2C engine. When American Champion reintroduced the 7ECA in 1995 as the Citabria "Aurora, " the biggest change was the use of metal-spar wings; the most recent significant design change has been the switch to aluminum main gear legs in 2004.

Tigers mark their territory by spraying urine and a fowl smelling fluid from their anal glands on trees. The naturalist Sunil and I were following fresh pug-marks of a tigress and her cub along a path, after a 100 meters or so the marks vanished from road so we were waiting near a pond hoping they would come for a drink. After 15 mins or so when we were starting to loose hope, a Langur started shouting with alarm call revealing presence of a cat nearby, after a while, about 200 ft behind our car, a huge male tiger came out of thick bush. I used to think as tigers are yellow-black striped, how can they be camouflaged in green bushes, over time I realized tiger skin is exactly designed to match thick bushes which are 'tiger coloured!' as seen here. After marking territory, he came towards the pond, sub-merged his back in to water, some drink and slowly disappeared in to thick bush cover again.
Hello all,
This photo is an experiment with different grey tones.
I've just got back from a camping trip to Emu Bight - about 4 hours out from Melbourne. I've geotagged it if you're curious. Such a beautiful location. Campsite was about a 30 second walk from this bay and a 30 minute drive to the most picturesque beach I have ever seen. We were blessed with terrific weather. I shall definitely returning next year, hopefully for a bit longer!
More images to come. This one is an HDR. I used the HDR Pro option in PS5 and created a monochrome preset that increased the contrast/brightness a bit. Vignette was also added.
Hope you're all well,
Ben
