finished hallway picture
What am I marking? Which photo? For example, Photo #2
Objective 3: Composition Techniques – Use the guide on the website
1. Rule of Thirds: I tried to put the backpack to the side of the picture to draw attention with the blue
Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)
Types of lighting and how they contribute to the image: the lighting made the floor really bright and that made the colours of the backpack shine a little more
Objective 5: Post Production (resize, contrast, sharpening, and others you have done)
Corrections/adjustments made: I increased the brightness of the photo to make it look more like a poster of sorts
Objective 6: Critique
Analyse your photograph for strengths and areas for improvement (consider composition, lighting, exposure, overall feel, etc.)
Strength: the blue of the backpack draws your eye too it and the floor shine really helped
Area for growth: I want to choose a better location next time because of the bright vending machines in the background. The colours of the
Photo don’t blend well either so I hope I can find a new location for this photo but just as bright
Objective 7: Photographic Styles (ex. portrait, landscape, etc.) – Explain why the settings and composition are appropriate for the style of photography. (How did you create the shot?)
Type/style of photography: Poster
The camera mode (P, TV, Av, M): P
F stop used: 5.6
Shutter speed used: ?
ISO used: 3200
