Multimedia art duo Martin Mayer and Quirin Empl specialize in interior and exterior 3D video mapping - an art form that uses the architecture, shape and conditions of the room to project moving images, light or graphics on abstract surfaces, and thus creating an entirely new atmospheric space.

Mapping the Port ist eine Erkundungsreise durch die verschiedenen Stadteile des Hamburger Hafens abseits der touristisch Erschlossenen und „überfotografierten“ Bereiche wie Landungsbrücken, St Pauli Elbtunnel, Speicherstadt, Hafencity und Elbphilharmonie.
Mapping the Port is an exploratory journey through the different parts of the Port of Hamburg beyond the touristically developed and "over-photographed" areas such as Landungsbrücken, St Pauli Elbtunnel, Speicherstadt, Hafencity and Elbphilharmonie.

On 26 May 2022, the AU-EU D4D Hub and Uganda's National ICT Innovation Hub hosted the workshop "Mapping of the Digital Savannah: Strengthening European-Ugandan digital cooperation". The aim of the event was to gain a full overview of ongoing and planned activities in the digital field between Ugandan and European actors, as well as identifying priorities and opportunities for joint cooperation.
The workshop was organised by Enabel Uganda, GIZ Uganda and EstDev in the framework of the AU-EU D4D Hub project, and took place from 8:00 to 14:15 at the National ICT Innovation Hub Nakawa in Kampala.
