A trial shot with my "new" Vivitar 28mm f/2.8. It's not marked as a macro lens but focuses at a very close distance. This is a 100% crop of the centre of a shot I took this afternoon in the garden.

Tamron Adaptall SP 90mm 2.5. Not a convenient lens, being an old, manual focusing prime with a long throw. Still manages to be one of my favorite lenses.
Luna and Pippin didn't want to look at the camera for this shot, and they couldn't pick the same direction.
I am home alone and it is strange. It is starting to get dark which means I will soon turn all the lights on and go downstairs with the dogs.
Fear conquers conservation every time.
