Heading north east from the Austin conurbation through the small town of Hutto, a single UP loco is in charge of the manifest.
Manifest crossing Maple Grove Road on the old DWP line. It's not even Halloween yet, but the snow could make you think Christmas is here.
A Santa Fe westbound mixed merchandise train climbs the east slope of Goffs Hill at Klinefelter, California, on July 2, 1972. Brand new U36C 8705 leads the train. Only the 8700-8705 were delivered in the pin stripe scheme; the rest were delivered in yellow warbonnet paint. This location was about 10 miles west of Needles on Santa Fe's Needles Subdivision.

Bio: Darren is a native from Ojai, California, and 1/4 Australian, albeit not having an Australian accent. He moved constantly from place to place, when his family choose to reside in L.A. He would be friends with Adrian Kane and Scott Lexington in his youth.
Darren excelled in his studies and eventually went to join the narcotics division, before he found out his team was corrupt and wanting drugs (long story). He couldn’t join the SWAT or most, so he applied for the communications team instead. He also worked at the air support team a while later.
During the raid at L.A., Darren was caught in the crossfire and subsequently activated his powers. When the leader of a SWAT team died, he took command and killed some villains and criminals. However he quit his job after and was alerted to the Grey Cop, becoming a member quickly after learning everything, and took on the codename “Manifester”
Powers and abilities: Ability to manifest “energy claws”, generate “energy spikes”, which he can create another layer of armour of energy around him, kinetic absorption and redirection (rarely). His powers stem from his thoughts/emotion that enable him to make constructs. Darren is skilled in narcotics, fixing satellites and linking communications, as well as making signals jam and stuff, but is not a hacker.
Weaknesses: Some weapons require a level of concentration, if energy is stored too much it will overload him, rendering him powerless but would not die (rarely). He is shown to worry about things, and has anxiety. Has fear of scorpions and nightmares. Dislikes Diet Coke and soda.
Equipment: Powered suit and harness, helmet with HUD, comlink and built in tech. Has access to weapons
Personality: Thoughtful, occasionally charismatic, devoted, insightful, friendly, focused (depends).
We've had a very dry start to this ski season. This is from one of our best powder days, last winter. It's been snowing in the mountains today and I'm manifesting snow. I need a good powder day.

NS 7540 leads manifest NS 13V westbound through Mattawana Junction, Pennsylvania, along the middle division of the NS Pittsburgh Line.
A heavy BNSF manifest heads east towards Elliston, Montana with a rebuilt SD75, SD70ACE, SD70MAC, and a leased Citirail ES44AC.
my entry for the 2011 oregon manifest. i hauled 30 lbs of boxes, bags and misc. for 51 miles and came in first. light, fast and simple.

Moments before a cloud completely swallows the light CN train A439 (Proctor Yard to Symington Yard manifest) hustles north thru Munger approaching the Munger Shaw Rd. crossing at MP 14 on CN's North Division Missabe Sub mainline. Modern day CN's designation for this route pays homage to the historic former Duluth, Missabe and Northern Railroad which was incorporated in 1891, ran its first train in 1892 and built into Duluth proper in 1893. In 1938 the road was merged into the Duluth and Iron Range both long owned by US Steel to officially create the legendary Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway.
Passing overhead is MP 18.9 on CN's Rainy Sub, the former Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railway mainline. Today the CN uses the two lines as a directional mainline for all their 'core' traffic which is how they refer to their non iron ore related thru trains to and from Canada. All southbound trains (manifest, grain, oil, intermodal etc.) take the Rainy while all northbound counterpartsuse the Missabe for a distance of about 60 miles between Nopeming Jct. on the south and Shelton Jct. on the north. But with both north and southbound ore and limestone trains using this lower line it sees far more traffic than it's counterpart overhead.
