This time, as mentioned before, I made a timelapse out of 999 photos, actually it's only 951, because a fly sad down on my grad filter. This is 60fps fast, so it's much more interesting, I think.
Nevertheless enjoy.

I found this scene close to the Kaiserturm on the Neunkirchner Höhe. It was cold, foggy and snowing. It was really dreadful fotographing in the cold, but worth every cold second in the end.

Aditya walked to the left of the model (Chris) and strobed the 430EX at full power every 2 steps to get this effect.
Same scene but different setup.
It's just different, not better, not worse. I like the heavenly look here more. On the other side it's not as majestic and powerful here.

When I arrived in Gernsheim at 5 in the morning the only people up at that hour were the local ferryman and an old man from a nearby restaurant who just started to clean.
The sun wasn't up yet and there were still walfs of mist on the river Rhine.
The early morning light pushed through the atmosphere where it went from normal sun light to warmly morning light. A streak of clouds picked it up and they began to glow.
Deuxième version, un format vertical avec une plus courte exposition pour donner du dynamisme à la scène, votre avis ??
Second version, a vertical format with a shorter exposure to give dynamism to the scene, you think ??

Thought I'd post this old shot of the Humber Bridge by Night along with the others... The photographer on the shore is none other than my old mate Osgoldcross!
Taken from the north bank of the estuary on an early december night.

Photographie d'architecture cette aprés midi. Je vous propose un petit jeu, un effet d'optique s'est glissé dans ce cliché.. saurez vous le trouver ?! A vous de jouer !! ^^

So, the year 2012 ends.
I'd like to wish you all the best possible start to the new year 2013!
Although this isn't a very typical and smooth water droplet collision photograph it's none the less interesting. It's hectic and a little bit of a mess, but a stricking mess of liquid forms.

Experiment with light. For some reason the image uploaded to Flickr is darker compared to when I was editing it...
Here's another photograph I hold deer, made this week. It's a 5 piece stitch made in the nearby Odenwald.
Around this time you can find the most beautiful scenes that nature offers us freely. Get out and shoot, enjoy the time before all leaves have fallen.

Well what can I say, those straight vertical lines caught my eye. This is with everything I could think of, bright shine-through sky, bright colours, spots of light on the fallen leafs and even a sunstar, which my ultra-wide is really great at. This vertical format really hits me, although it isn't natural, maybe that's why. I don't know.

Grange Jetty on a Saturday night.
The seabreeze was a welcome reprieve from the heatwave Adelaide has been experiencing of late.
This photo will start a series of a hand full of photos which I made over the last two days. The total set came to over 700 photos, mostly unusable of course.
They developed as a idea to freeze high speed action, which otherwise wouldn't be visible to the human eye.
The light installation for these photos existed of two 500W halogen bulb lamps, a mirror and a reflector to focus all the light that I needed.
Please enjoy!

I was able to get some great details thanks to my tripod and 200mm f/2.8L, and Ely Cathedral certainly has some nice details to see!
OK, it's official. I'm a Flickr Freak!
2 seconds out of it's box, is it plugged in? NO!? I'm setting it up for a product shot - strobist stylee!!!
Strobist: shot on Manfrotto190XproB with MG460 head (borrowed) set about 7" from ground - Canon 580EX II set on zoom24 1/16 power fired by Cactus V2 trigger flash directed OVER product to catch silver lettering. Ambient blue light supplied by 160gallon reef tank - try this at your own risk!
