This shows the routing of the 1MHz bus cable underneath the mainboard. I use some thin cardboard on the first section before the bend, to minimise the risk of pins piercing the cable.
It took a little over 2 weeks of lunches to find enough parts in the DS warehouse to make this near mint condition Bolt ii Chassis! It started as a heavily damaged gold bolt II. I believe this was originally one of our press review units. I'm super happy with how it turned out. It's sort of a franken bolt ii utilizing parts from 3 revisions. the mainboard tray and case bottom had moderate shipping damage that i had to repair by hand but it was well worth the efffort. I initially planned on restoring this and a Bolt 1 to ad to my case collection library but I liked the system so much it became the canvass for my new computer!

This is the mainboard of the Solar GPS Logger, after an attempt at reflow soldering. A couple bridged pins on the microcontroller, but otherwise, pretty successful.
I'm decommissioning my old (2002-era) PowerBook Titanium. As part of that process, before shipping it out to Cupertino for recycling, I wanted to remove the hard drive. Once I opened 'er up, I found a bounty of photogenic material ... And here we are.
This pic is of the internals of the Kurzweil K2000S. It was taken several years ago when I opened the keyboard to upgrade the Sample RAM and install an internal SCSI hard drive.

(CzechRad nemá zatím správně nastavený koeficient pro výpočet dávkového příkonu, proto ukazuje výrazně odlišnou hodnotu proti bGeigie Nano / CzechRad does not yet have a correctly set coefficient for calculating the dose rate, therefore it shows a significantly different value against bGeigie Nano)
