I still have my Apple Macbook Pro form the first series. But I just had trouble with this thingy. First of all I have got the third mainboard, a second bottom case, a second dvd drive and now also the alu at the commandkey is falling into pieces.. :( Hopefully I have more luck with the next one again...

Trace Elliot Commando combo on the bench for servicing. It was working but distoritng badly. The speaker was an old nonstandard HH unit from the seventies and completely knackered. The amp was also missing a critical component that had just for some reason fallen off the mainboard and was rattling around inside. Now repaired and sounding very fine. Build date 1995
The other side of the mainboard with the power supply and the scsi and ide interface. I assume one of these chips is also the main cpu as well.
