Weiter so !

FCC BeBox Testing
In May 1996, the dual 66MHz BeBox received FCC Class A approval (but not Class B approval). This meant that Be Inc could then sell BeBoxes for commercial use. Practically, this meant that they could ship the BeBox to professionals almost anywhere, and to consumer in countries where FCC Class A is acceptable. (FCC Class B is specifically for consumer devices).
The Revision 5 BeBox mainboards have been noted as producing some RFI noise.
Unlike the 66MHz BeBox, the 133 MHz BeBox complies with the FCC and European class B requirements, and therefore can be sold to end users almost anywhere.
In December 1996, Guillaume Desmarets wrote an article in the BeNewsletter explaining the purpose and design of FCC testing.

OS: WIN 7 Prof. 64bit,
Since i did a DIY full spectrum conversion on my Fujifilm X-E3, i wanted to buy a second body for "standard" pictures.
After a while, i found on Ebay this camera with a low bid count and price, so i thought it can be a nice project.
Yes, a project.
Because this camera was completly submerged by mud and water on one of the last flood in Germany and it was sold as is.
After a lof of cleaning, i found some major issues on the mainboard, not worth to repair so i decided to gave this survivor a second chance.
I completly dismantled it, clean it (no completly to remember its story), created the background from scratch, glue every part on the background and put it under a frame.
(Total time without cleaning time: 15 hours)
I hope you like it as i did on making it.

UPS just dropped of the electronics, so after mounting it and flashing the latest firmware the motherboard seems to work fine.
Cow-orker's HD took a power hit. I'll replace the -obliterated- capacitor but I do not have high hopes that it will work after that.
Xbox 360's aren't the only thing to suffer from what causes red-ring of death. (RROD) This Thinkpad mainboard has the same issue. Bad solder joints and stress from the CPU cooler on the main board has caused bad connections under the CPU. If I loosen the screws and push up under the CPU I can get it to power up normally .. but without me pushing on the mainboard, it won't boot. It's an old machine from 2004, but would have been perfectly good to use otherwise... RIP Thinkpad
Damaged Lan controller ( black chip with "M" sign) slowly burning during motherboard tests.
