A postal deliveryman makes the rounds in Dardanelle Arkansas despite drenching rains that raised the nearby Arkansas River to above flood stage.
The City of Melbourne leases out small purpose-built kiosks and cylinders to street traders.
Rolled out back in the 1990s, nine of the larger newsstands were demolished in 2019 to make more space on footpaths.
However a number of fruit and flower kiosks still operate today, as well as smaller cylinders that fold out into a shop to sell retail, fashion, wearable art and street food.
