This is the most elaborate display I've ever seen them do at PAX. So cool how they incorporated parts of the street and building.
This papercraft is a very simple Crown, from the trading card game Conspiracy, which is a Magic: The Gathering set, the paper model is created by Wizards Play Network.

Of course I was going to dress up for tonight. Of course. Hey if I'm going out to run a card tournament at midnight, I am going to go the full hog, y'know? This is a hair and makeup test, I looked so... not me... I grabbed a quick picture ;) Enjoy my steampunk goggles (from the last steampunkcouture.com sale), blue wig and semi-decent eyeshadow flick ;D I have so much dark eye makeup on I look a bit tired and/or punched but dimir are the skeezy, evil spy/thief guild so I'm trying to look a bit downtown. HAPPILY at 4am when I am knackered and grumpy and my makeup has smudged all over my face this means I will just look EVEN MORE IN CHARACTER!
The tune for this picture (and this evening!) Is Can't Play Dead by The Heavy, as it is providing me the get-up-and-go to actually do this stuff lol ;)
I ran it over with the coffeeshopblog denim action and then made it a bit comic-y because the original image quality was about as good as one gets trying to take a selfy balancing on a pile of books.
I'm about to spend the next 24 hours awake and playing cards/making coffee so I'll be taking pictures but may not be uploading for a day or so. Will catch up on my return. Have fun, chums!
well, i know i have a huge backlog of (hopefully) interesting 365 images to get down to, but in the meantime you can feast your eyes on all my Stuff.
you know, Stuff. sitting at my desk with a cup of tea i realised that (thanks to being a really messy person) i had most of my favourite materialistic goods right in front of me.
i'm trying very hard to be a Zen Buddhist in real life, but in the meantime, you know, i do really love Stuff.
[edit: popped it in my 365 category. i thought it was probably more 365 than anything else - maybe i should have one day a month where i photograph my stuffes to see what's changed and what's important...!]
My favorite planeswalker, attempted to be built in a similar style to eero okkonen, based on his recent nissa moc. Realized I was WAY shorter on regular green system parts than I thought a little ways in, hence the hockey chest and rahkshi head. Super happy with her head.

A Ral Zarek (Magic the Gathering: "Duels of the Planeswalkers") cosplay (quicky 13 day build) made for PAX 2013. Lots of lights involved (including the back battery and the side battery), many of which sadly didn't make it into this photo.
I love Ral's smirk, and anything with glowing lights is my jam. The adaptation is based on how I imagine he might restyle himself were he a lady based on other concept work from the Izzet league.
