Chevrolet W-Series in San Diego, the first one I've seen with tandem axle. Doesn't look like it's moved in a while and parts are missing.

Staying with the Magic Bus theme, diecast model manufacturer Exclusive First Editions released their Manchester Standard model in the allover blue Magic livery in late 2012.
Although the casting is not EFE's finest, having quite a few flaws and being a fraction too low, it is instantly recognisable as a representative of a vehicle that served Manchesters streets for many years.
The model is seen posed on a basic diorama which is miles away from anywhere that the real 142 service would serve!
I've been so busy since returning from WDW last week that I've barely looked at the photos I took while there but since most of the photos are fall/Halloween themed, I really need to get moving while they're still relevant!
This was done on a 3 1/2" tile with a 005 pen. It looks brown in the picture but it was definitely done in black!

I had thoughts of 'waterbending', like Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender)... but also thought about Juvia from the anime Fairy Tail. What wonderful magic you can imagine with water and magic... Even thoughts of The Abyss from back in 1989 with Ed Harris.
Magic Island was a restaurant in Houston, Texas that featured a magic show and dinner at a high price. It closed after Hurricane Katrina and has never reopened since. Locked up pretty well, it has suffered ok against time, looters, and the elements. It has some holes in the roof, there has been a fire, and it has no electricity. With the permission of the people in charge of the property I was allowed to go through and photograph it before it is lost for all time. Most of these photos are either close up with a flash or I painted with my flashlight while the camera was on a tripod. There are disco balls, sarcophagi, a theater and a steam punk elevator. I had never been there before and it was interesting to go from room to room and have no idea what I would see next.

I was surveying in a small valley in the Dolomites, not far from the most famous peaks, like Antelao, Pelmo, Civetta, but none of those was in sight. Anyway, the place was magic. Winter on Alps is wonderful, every season is wonderful up there.
i just picked up the magic mouse for my macbook pro today. it fits really snugly in my hand. the trackpad on the macbook pro is pretty sweet but for editing photos i really do prefer using a mouse. i am still getting used to using the multi-touch navigation but i am amazed at how well it works so far.
and yeah i know i have been going nuts putting up bokeh shots lately but it's so pretty i can't help it.

The final hairpin turn on the hike to the summit of Mount Mitchell. I call it Magic Mountain, because if you don't like the weather now.... just wait 15 minutes and it'll change, like magic!
This particular morning was wild because when I got there the summit was completely shrouded in clouds but over a 20 minute time period, there was thunder, showers and sun. magic.
Have the graveyard shift tonight, but tomorrow is a very special day!
