No morning shooting on the busy Wilmslow Road corridor would be complete without getting a glimpse of 'Magic Bodge' Dennis Trident 18284.

Those Alexander ALX400 headlights really don't do it any favours whatsoever!

This is intentionally slightly overexposed. I like the bright look of the storefronts.

a friend from high school brought her kids out to my house tonight & they all threw paint at each other.

it's exactly what i needed to unwind and dig myself out of the rut i've been in for months.

Just got back last night from a 7 day Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Magic.

This is a shot of one of the smoke stacks on the top deck of the ship. It was a downright gorgeous day. We just boarded the ship so there was hardly anyone around yet.

I knew that it was going to be a cloudless sunset, but I went anyway. While strolling up and down this pebble beach at Lunada Bay to settle in, I paid attention in particular to the ubiquitous amount of seaweed that washed up on the shore and decorated the beach like fallen leaves at a park in the fall. These translucent algae were illuminating while the sun was gently caressing the ocean surface with its magic hour touch.

It seemed just a common pink flower. But when I looked at it carefully, I discovered a magic little world with multiple colors.

Halloween at the Magic Theatre. Having a fabulous time and meeting old friends again.

Took the great chance again today and went into the forest in my waders. It was really fun. Walking through the deepest puddle I could find, without getting wet - like a bit of magic though it is not.

Magic in the computer room!

reminds me of something out of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory....unfortunately there not chocolate gum drops like in the film.

I used a purple filter on this, not sure if its a bit too purple but I like the dreamy effect it gives!

haven't used this lens in a while but i really should use it more often.

School have not been going easy on me, my light reading for the night was the birth of the Nazi's. Interesting but very heavy and sad. I've always had a childhood fascination with Anne Frank and the holocaust, and have read the diary several times and visited the museum. So it is very interesting to find out how it started!

On another not i'm thinking of getting the lens baby spark? does anyone have one?

About time for another William upload, he currently thinks that he can turn the lights on and off by blowing at them, i think we have a mischievous grandparent to thank for that little 'magic' trick :) but it made for a great photo opportunity and makes us laugh so i'm not complaining.

Taken with the 50mm at f1.8 to create the shallow dof i was after, also took another frame with just the hand in focus but this one conveys 'magic' more to me. Quite high ISO (1600) and relatively slow shutter speed (1/160) as it was dark except for the one electric light overhead.

Got rubbish internet connection this morning, lots of wind and rain here overnight and it looks like some gremlins have got in the system, might not be around much till thats sorted.

Proper sunny summer's weather this weekend, and where better to enjoy it than Newquay in Cornwall?

Special thanks to The Who for the title of this picture, to Picnik for the amazing astral flare, and to Newquay, well, just for being Newquay.

What is it about puppies that make us fall in love with them. This is my mom's yet unnamed puppy and pal for Clousseau.

Stagecoach in Manchester's (MX08GOP) 19266 seen, although slightly blurry 😡, on the extended 38 to the newly opened Logistics North industrial estate, near the M61 roundabout in Nicolas Hill. She's seen wearing the Magic Bus livery.

Magic going for the ball.

Back to the Magic Buses and taken many years ago on my way to work, from the photo I’m on a slightly different route into Manchester than I would have normally taken no doubt to beat the traffic, it didn’t work as I was in a queue here and just took this through the side window of the car as I waited patiently. Oddly enough Ashton new Road in Droylsden looks quite deserted in the opposite direction. B53 PJA is the Magic bus Olympian in question and was new to GMPTE in 1984, it did see further service after Stagecoach but has no doubt been reduced to a pile of scrap and used to produce a million new razor blades by now.
