A suit is a set of garments made from the same cloth, consisting of at least a jacket and trousers. Some also have vests made from the same fabric. The two cuts of men’s suits are referred to as two piece and three piece suits respectively. The most common type of suit worn today is the lounge s...
The name "ilê aiyê" is the Yorubá expression for homeland, or the physical earth as opposed to the mythical world of the gods. This expression is in the roots of our Afro-Brazillian culture, related to Candomblé, our Afro-Brazillian cult. Ilê Aiyê is also the name of a group of percussionists from Bahia who help homeless children and teach them music to get them out of the streets. I gave the skirt this name because in many African Cultures the masks are the medium through which their xamans talk to their Gods.
The skirt is long, has a frontal asymetrical extra panel, slightly ruffled, and has a slit in the back.

New to the Birmingham Coach Company
Vale Travel's first known vehicle was a Transit, and this appears to have been the second. The company had an apparent connection with Red Rose and consequently Lutonian, and it was presumably through this link that K29 WND had been acquired. It remained in Lutonian livery but its career was cut short by an accident; seen at Red Rose's depot shortly afterwards, it was soon scrapped and replaced by J602 KGB.

Marianne also asked us for the fringed leather skirt from our "Maeve Of Connacht" outfit. I paired it up with the bag from "Grace" (I photographed the dress in part 1) and with the dress we've shown yesterday.
Seen here in Luton Bus Station operating for Lutonian in March 2002 is Mercedes 609 / Made to Measure K26WND, waiting to depart on long country route 43 to Hemel Hempstead via Studham. Purchased as part of a batch by The Shires from the Birmingham Coach Company in 1995 it operated in The Shires blue and yellow before being transferred to Lutonian in the late 1990's. Following Arriva's enforced sale of the Lutonian company this vehicle and it's sisters continued to work for the company as seen here. Following it's time with Lutonian it passed to Red Rose of Aylesbury where it was downseated to B16F.

New to Friedel (Escort Coaches), Enfield
A strange find in a car park in the Conniburrow district of Milton Keynes, this looked to have been here for a while as its tax had expired at the beginning of the month and it hasn't been licensed since, and it was a long way from its former home. There is an operator called Capital Buses based elsewhere in Conniburrow but with no evidence to link this vehicle to them its presence here remains a mystery and I guess it is long gone now.
