D322 MNC is a Mercedes 609D with minibus conversion by Made-to-Measure. It reached East Midland from the fleet of Maun, Mansfield, and is seen here in Newark Bus Station.
B-LINE, KINSLEY
Resting at the entrance to the bus station, before returning to South Elmsall, is D912PRJ, a very smart Freight Rover Sherpa with Made to Measure M16 body.
It had been new to Simmonds Barlestone, in July, 1987, and acquired in 1996, from nearby, Cygnet of Barnsley.

K25WND was a Mercedes 609D / Made to Measure B24F purchased new by the Birmingham Coach Company in 1992 for competitive services in South Birmingham. They only lasted about two years before the complete batch was sold to Arriva The Shires. It then passed to Collin's of Benfleet before joining Key Coaches. This shot shows it in Paisley when heading for Blackhall.

One of a batch of seven vehicles K25-29/31/32 WND new to the Birmingham Coach Company in 1992 for competitive services in South Birmingham. They only lasted about two years before the complete batch was sold to Arriva The Shires. K25WND was also operated by Key Coaches.
Seen in Barnsley on Service N1, Neil's J126 OBU is a Mercedes 609D with minibus conversion by Made-to-Measure. It was obtained new in 1992.

New to the Birmingham Coach Company
Red Rose partner Chris Day was a member of the consortium who bought Lutonian Buses from Arriva in 2000 and later sold it to Centrebus. A couple of Red Rose vehicles were transferred to Luton but only this one came the other way. Originally a 24-seater, it was downseated to 16 as a replacement for H63 BKM and had large luggage pens in the front section. The livery is non-standard as only the lower half appears to have been repainted.
The name "ilê aiyê" is the Yorubá expression for homeland, or the physical earth as opposed to the mythical world of the gods. This expression is in the roots of our Afro-Brazillian culture, related to Candomblé, our Afro-Brazillian cult. Ilê Aiyê is also the name of a group of percussionists from Bahia who help homeless children and teach them music to get them out of the streets. I gave the skirt this name because in many African Cultures the masks are the medium through which their xamans talk to their Gods.
The skirt is long, has a frontal asymetrical extra panel, slightly ruffled, and has a slit in the back.

For several years Roger Litchfield's fleet was made up primarily of coachbuilt Transits, of which this was the newest and last to arrive. By 2005 it had ceased to operate and was laid up with his other derelict vehicles in the Leighton Buzzard graveyard.

For an artistic data experiment, the group Laokoon created a doppelganger of a person they didn’t know using only their personal Google data. Five years of this person’s life were reconstructed and filmed in detail on a large theatre stage. A few months later, the original and her datafied double met. The spectacular and one-of-a-kind experiment becomes tangible on an interactive storytelling website, where visitors can experience how far-reaching the insights into our inner lives and our most intimate secrets are, which we grant Google, Facebook & Co. every day. Tapping into a novel and complex digital narrative form, the cross-media project MADE TO MEASURE, which also includes a TV documentary, sheds light on how tech companies use the collected data of billions of people to turn their weaknesses, insecurities, illnesses and potential for addiction into profit.

Seen here in Market Hill, Luton before the area was pedestrianised in 1998 is Mercedes 609 K27 WND sporting Luton & Dunstable local fleetnames. The K-WND batch of vehicles had been acquired by The Shires from Birmingham Coach Company in 1995 and were transferred to The Lutonian operating unit to replace Freight Rovers and Ivecos when that company was taken over by Arriva in 1998. The vehicles stayed with Lutonian when the company was sold in 2000 but all had gone by the time Centrebus purchased Lutonian in 2004.

Named after Hozier's beautiful "The Legend Of Tarzan" End Title song "Better Love".
The dress is a cream variation of "From Eden"'s gray top. That outfit was also named after a Hozier song, and it was our biggest hit from the "Utopia" collection, along with the One Of A Kind outfits and "Flower Power".
Seen at the Yellow Buses depot in Bournemouth in March 1995 is unusual Talbot Express / Made to Measure 14-seater 85 E965SVU, one of a pair with Yellow Coaches. Crystals-bodied 86 E786EGX is parked behind.
