Boiled egg shells. These are actually brown eggs taken in B&W and then adjusted for a hint of color..... HMM!
HMM... the macromondays theme for today 9/25 is the zodiac. camille is one of the rare blue crabs, moreso because she is camoflagued. (btb, she is also diminutive and was measured as just under 3 inches, so fits the parameters :)

An interesting challenge this one, what to take and how to get as close as possible without damaging my camera! I settled on a wax tealight candle with a brushed aluminium background that gives a flame effect behind the candle flame itself.
Measurements: 1 1/2 inches wide x 2 inches high.

the macromondays theme for today, 11/30, is in the bathroom. this little jar is in my bath and contains a small amount of cotton balls. of course this would be my choice :)

Patch awarded to a member of the British RAF in WWII. A Navigator was responsible for keeping the aircraft on course at all times. It required long periods of intense concentration for virtually the whole flight, which could be many hours.
Macro Mondays theme this week was double exposure. Luckily the previous week I learnt how to merge two photos in Photoshop for another project, so I thought it would be easy!! How wrong I was, it was so hard to take two photos that merged together as I wanted.
This is the back and front of a small urchin shell.

Size: less than 3x3 inches
I arranged these magnetised hexagonal nuts ( 1cm in diameter ) on the magnet which is out of sight.
There is only natural light through the window. The yellow background is from a yellow plastic bag.
